Btw, Trump is an absolute jackass.

He’s honestly terrible. I think he’s completely insane and most like mentally ill.

I don’t have TDS or anything. And I certainly don’t think the world is crashing and burning right in front of our eyes.

But im capable of saying he couldn’t be doing a worse job of president’ing the USA.

LOL at CC or any Trump stan getting upset over her rhetoric.  Irony much?

On the flip side, LOL at anyone celebrating her remarks, but also gets rattled by anything Trump says.  Irony much?

How about everyone just grows thicker skin and our public servants act like adults?

Also,  bonus shout out to the media.  The same media that pretended to be SHOCKED that Kavanaugh likes to drink beer, are also the same group of people who were getting drunk on air during NYE, while Chrissy Teigen steamed out her vagina.

House Dems move to scrap electoral college, prez pardon power

They are treading on thin ice -----

The whole debate is really a perfect example of why it's the way it is....The entire point is, if you don't want to live and think like they do in CA, you have your choice of 49 other states to live in.

It's so outrageous that the party that is supposed to be about the minority and the little guy....wants to screw over the minority and the little guy (really only the ones that don't think like they do).

Fortunately, this is probably DOA because it requires more than a few career politicians to vote against their own re-election.  Don't think it would ever get ratified by 2/3 of states (I hope).

SMFH....if you abolish the filibuster and the electoral college, then you are just making the Senate duplicative of the House.  These idiots don't realize that a less divided govt and less checks & balances is rarely a good thing.  Again, it's a completely irrational and unhealthy belief in ideals that drives this, rather than a realistic understanding of process and execution.

But if you can convince people global warming is going to destroy the planet, then I suppose those people will be willing to take extreme measures to eliminate those evil Republicans.

It's one guy and the proposals are not supported by Pelosi, so they are DOA and I highly highly doubt will ever come up for a vote.

It is just one guy trying to get attention from the far left. It is the same the House Rs did when they got into power and pushed BS bills to impeach Obama in 2009-2010.

I wouldn't worry about it until Pelosi, the Speaker of the House, starts to push it.

Classic.

https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=11717

VIDEO: Students hate Trump's immigration, border wall quotes, don’t realize they’re from Dems

Such quotes include:

“Illegal Immigration is wrong, plain and simple. Until the American people are convinced we will stop future flows of illegal immigration, we will make no progress.” -Senator Chuck Schumer, 2009

“We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented and unchecked” -Barack Obama, 2005

“I voted numerous times… to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in. And I do think you have to control your borders.” -Hillary Clinton, 2008

Wanting to know if opponents of Trump’s border wall had opinions on these past quotes from Democrat leaders, Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips headed to American University.

But there’s a catch… the students were told the quotes actually came from President Trump.

Upon hearing the quotes, students said Trump’s words were “dehumanizing,” “problematic,” and “jingoist.”

“I just really think it’s hateful speech,” one student said, while another added, “the way he’s referring to people across the wall is dehumanizing.”

One student said the comments held racist undertones, claiming “there are racial biases deeply embedded in there.”

But this was all before they knew these quotes were actually coming from political idols of theirs.

Dems dont want to solve the immigration debate.  THey know the wall solves the problem.  If they cant yell at the top of their lungs about this topic they have nothing else to offer.

I think the dems want a wall just as much as anybody else. What they are resisting is Trump being the president while it is put up. It would be better if they just came out and said

"I do not want Trump putting up any type of wall, regardless of who is paying for it."

Or "I would rather it be a democrat who puts up some sort of wall than Trump."

Then I could at least appreciate their honesty.

I think people like myself understand you can increase border security or address immigration problems without building a wall.  I also think our immigration issues haven't significantly changed in since 2008 either.  It certainly isn't an "Emergency".

There isnt one republican saying that a wall is all they want.  A wall IS the most effective.

Well, I certainly do not or will not approve of Trump taking the matter into his own hands and declaring it as a national emergency and I don't even support illegal immigration. It's just wrong to do that and I don't think I have TDS to say it.

Well Pelosi came out today and said it wasn't.  But that is because she realized that she is going to be on the wrong side of history.

Libs must truly believe the wall will work, otherwise they would merely hand over the paltry $5 billion, take credit for reopening government, and enjoy the future votes of the illegals that they claim a wall will not contain.

Funny how that is so readily apparent.

God they are the biggest hypocrites known to the world.

Well the 5 billion is not all that’s on the table. It’s also 4 billion for 50,000 beds, 600 mill for more agents  ect.. also that 5 billion only represents beginning construction costs for 250 miles of wall out of 2000 miles of border correct?
