I mean, she's still old, but yeah, everything seems to indicate that she's recovering.

Cancer aside, she hardly looks crisp:

True. She is old, but apparently her mind is still there, so who knows.

Yeah, she missed the boat to retire during Obama's term.

Some people need to have that drive to work. It keeps them going. I'd much rather be lazy and do what I want without having to answer for a paycheck when I reach a certain age lol! A bazillion other things to do at that age IMO, but whatever.

When was the last time anyone saw RBG?  We need proof of life at this point.

It took this long for the Broward County Sheriff to get suspended. What in the fuck.

Tulsi Gabbard throws her hat in for 2020.

I think she's a little too far left for me, but at least she's not in danger of stroking out halfway through term lol!

I don't know. The dem party is struggling to find itself again but I'm not sure listing this far starboard is where it will find its footing. Thoughts on this?

They’re all too far left. She doesn’t seem THAT bad though. Not worse than Bernie, Beto, Chief Warren, or Kamala. Biden or Hillary seem to be the least crazy regressive. If one of that first group does win, it will prove how far out there the left has become.

We all know that the dems bench was weak and had been.  We also knew that the far left has taken over

The republicans haven't exactly had a strong bench lately, either. Trump aside ... Mitt Romney? Ben Carlson?

I’m all in on Haley. I think in a few years Dan Crenshaw will be a popular name (war vet, lost eye).

Jesus I saw where some wacko news outlet made a story about how National wildlife areas are in danger since the government shutdown......its nature for god sake.  I think it can take care of itself

I was a pretty big Romney fan.  Great candidate, lousy campaigner.  Basically the complete opposite of Trump, in every respect.

I wasn't a huge fan of Romney, but compared to Trump, he's damn-near Milton Friedman.

30 some democrats partying it up in the Caribbean with over 100 lobbyists during a border crisis and government shutdown.  Wonderful.

If it were republicans the media would crucify them.

I don't agree with QO much, but his last sentence here is true. If the Rs had gone on an expensive vacation during this shutdown the CNN/MSNBC's of the world would be crucifying them.

So apparently somebody got a bunch of illegal immigrants from Mexico and Guatemala and they are claiming sanctuary on Nancy Pelosi's lawn.

What a turnout!  I can't tell if there are 5 or 6 people that were there.  I don't know who Laura Loomer is, but man what a  way to make a public statement.

I agree with you wholeheartedly that these people going on a trip to Puerto Rico right now is a perfect example of why people have such a low regard for our elected leaders.  I don't agree with your second point.  The fact that we're discussing it here shows that it is out there.  There are so many of these lobbyist trips being taken by politicians.

I can't understand why you continue with this media conspiracy.  You obviously have no problem finding the news stories you chose to read.  So the main TV networks and the few existing newspapers give more scrutiny to Republicans?  So what.  There are literally tens of thousands of sources for news today.  You can find your outraged reporting on whatever issue from whatever angle anytime you desire.  Go to Google.com.

So I see a highlight from a recent NYT article...."What if the obstruction WAS the collusion?"

LMFAO, so the new angle on all the fishing expedition is going to be Trump fired Comey [at the behest of Russia, I assume] in order to hinder the investigation into election meddling.

I also see some rumbling about the emoluments clause, and how Trump is colluding or poses a security risk in order to profit personally from Russia.  Mind you, as POTUS, not necessarily prior to running for election.

Well when they act like they're the firefighters of truth but instead are complete dipshits they deserved to be called out. When they blatantly try to push opinion as fact and blatantly lie to the readers (90% of the Kavanaugh coverage), it isn't a "conspiracy", they're just losers.

Didn't we say this was most likely the end game all along with this investigation?

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but has anyone watched this Gillette toxic masculinity ad?  LOL, who the fuck thought this was a good idea?  Hey guise, let's tell our main demographic they suck and are rapists!  It's not like guys are loyalists to razor brands.  It's not very hard for any of us to switch razors.
