It's a really dumb thing for the writer to do.  Of course, the "woken" will blame the NFL for normalizing this behavior, when reality is so what?  It's not going to keep him out of the NFL or for his draft stock to drop at all...which will make it look like no big deal and that there's no consequences.

So by calling out someone who won't suffer consequences, the writer is actually helping to normalize something that presumably offends him.

The first 1:45 is the only thing important here. I'm putting it up because I'm kinda wow'd that CNN allowed this to happen lol!

You can post whatever you like.  And no, I don't dispute the story happened.  My point is that with 350 million of us in this country, there will always be incidents of people doing crazy things, whether in the name of politics, religion, race, whatever.  Unfortunately we live in an age where it is easy to project every one of those people's actions to everyone.  We then read or watch these stories and start to believe they are part of some trend or movement or whatever the case and that they actually represent something significant.  

 

Most of our country functions just fine.  Differing views are what makes us great.  Extremists or nut jobs are not representative of the bulk of us.  Pasting these stories and making that suggestion is what I disagree with.

Nice try.  If the Trumpers don't like the fact checks on mediabiasfactcheck, they call it a liberal media outlet.  

There used to be a site called KnifeMedia but it is now defunct. But I really liked it because they reported the news with as little adjectives as they could. They tried very hard not to put their feelings into the reporting and even reviewed other media outlets for propaganda. But since they didn't publish clickbait or try to be a political outreach program, they didn't get many advertisers. Hence, going defunct.

Well, after scanning several, it IS pretty clearly left-leaning.  

For example, they correctly label Fox and MSNBC/CNN very biased....but for MSNBC/CNN they go on to say "but straight news is good" and other equivocations and apologies.  The half dozen or so descriptions I read on the left all said something along the lines of "mostly...but there are writers/contributors who are very objective".  Stark contrast to what was written on the right-leaning sites.

It put Breitbart out there in conspiracy/fake news land....but not HuffPo or VOX?  Politico is on the list of "least biased"?!?

Also, it put WattsUpWithThat on the list of conspiracy/faux science for daring to challenge the global warming hysteria.  That site is quite good, has some very prominent and accomplished skeptics who regularly contribute, and is constantly promoting peer-reviewed papers that challenge the so-called "consensus".
