Every registered Democrat is radical artifa = every registered Republican is a radical alt right
Both stupid beyond any measurable bounds.

It is a great time to be alive
We have to stop demonizing people and realize that the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.
So, the other night CNN's Don Lemon said this and he has since stood by his words while CNN declines to say anything further. So, this then brings forth some questions that I think society in general should think about.
Is this mainstream now? Are most white men radicalized? "Doing something about them" - what does this mean, exactly? Is this the progressive idea that racism is power + prejudice, instead of the standard definition (prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior)?
I happen to think that all of this mind junk is because of the democrat's failure to force their crazies to become culturally irrelevant. We were able to make organizations like the KKK culturally irrelevant but we can't seem to make this far left/progressive ideology culturally irrelevant. I have to wonder at the inability or even the slightest bit of effort.

Don Lemon is an idiot.
It isn't democrats that need to force their crazies to become irrelevant, it is Americans that need to force extremists from both sides of the ideological spectrum to become irrelevent. For every left wing radical there is a right wing radical. Be honest about it. Any ideology taken to the extreme is problematic. Extremists exist in every walk of life. The premise that they only occupy one political extreme - the extreme of the side you happen to disagree with - is simply not true.

I will raise the point again that the KKK is no longer culturally relevant even though they are still around. They are not mainstream. The religious Right is no longer culturally relevant, they are not mainstream. But when one of the Big Three tv news networks is condoning the type of rhetoric that folks like Don Lemon vomit forth, I would say that it is pretty mainstream.
Most of us here pretty much disregard cable news nowdays but we cannot just pretend that that isn't how most people get their news. FOX, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, etc. are still very much a powerful medium that tends to sway public opinion. That's pretty undeniable. We don't have to like or support that fact, but it's how it is - for now.
Teacher needs to take a medical leave to have their TDS treated.

Well, if you go by the YouTube responses, 58,000 people thought it was great, and funny, while 2,000 went thumbs down.
Cheer up, man.

I would strongly disagree with that. Even if close to accurate, if we go by protesters and people being confrontational and destroying property....it's more like 100 to 1 for the leftists. Closer to 100 to 0 if we don't actually consider hate groups to be "right wing" - big win for the Democrats convincing everyone that all racists vote Republican.
Someone who has radical views, but pretty much keeps them to themselves really isn't the same, are they?
Do you think the right wing is less public and less persistently annoying because they have jobs to worry about?

You're asking whether or not I validate your opinion. Them being less public or annoying is subjective. I would answer no. I find both of these groups very much equally public and annoying. Anyone who carries their own political views to extreme is annoying. Anyone who thinks in absolutes - "I/we are absolutely always right and the those who oppose us are always absolutely wrong" - is bad for the rest of us when they continually get a disproportionate amount of our attention.

I don’t think he is saying most white men are a threat or are radicals, but rather there is an alarming trend of white males committing acts of terror which is pretty much true? The president has said the same thing about Muslims and Mexicans in an even more inflammatory way many times. Not sure I see the difference here

I don't think that is remotely true. The only "conservative" groups that march and rally are the hate groups, which actually aren't Republican or Conservative no matter how much the Left claims that to be true. Yeah, there's the occasional pro life rally or your nutjob religious groups, but they aren't very frequent and don't get a lot of coverage. You had the Tea Party there for a few years, but that was pretty short lived.
But on the other hand, every time you turn around some different liberal group is marching or rallying. It's practically daily. There is absolutely no comparison as to which side's crazy radicals are more vocal and disruptive. It's almost self-fulfilling when the radical lefties believe so strongly in virtue signaling that they are going to be much more of a nuisance than the right wingnuts.
An alarming trend ??
Every once in a while a white male shoots it up.
Every once in a while a non-white male shoots it up.
Every once in a while a kid shoots it up.
And it has happened under you-name-the-president for decades.

I don't think that's a "trend" at all....I think that's been a fact for most of this country's existence. Unless you're too young to remember people like Ted Kacyzinski or Timothy McVeigh and countless others through the years.
Just imagine someone on Fox saying a black person is more likely to shoot you. Would you agree that is, statistically, "pretty much true" and that person should keep their job?

I think Don Lemon meant what he said, he's a bit of a nut lol! Think about it, he makes his living by talking. He's well versed in sentence structure.
I do think you make a good point about Trump, though, in fairness. There are times when I don't think he can walk and chew gum at the same time.

This reminds me of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleveland_Elementary_School_shooting_(San_Diego)#Brenda_Spencer
which goes back even further than those guys. I remember my older brother had the 45 of the record "I Don't Like Monday's". God, I'm dating myself here lol

I don’t know if that is apples to apples comparison but I get your point. However people say that about Muslims and immigrants all the time including the president. I would say tho it is an uptick in violence by whites as far as mass killings and Terrorism but maybe it just seems that way I guess

I think there's an uptick in all of this, in general, but the middle aged white guy doing this stuff is nothing new.
Truthfully, I think there's like 300 people killed in these type of mass murders each year....statistically that probably ranks like 93rd in ways for you to die prematurely.
A Trump supporter, white male, and a hate crime involving a gun - it's somewhat miraculous Don Lemon stopped creaming himself long enough to even get dressed for work.
This conversation here on both sides is stupid. Racism, violence, hate crimes.....general public violence is actually down. Our society and these younger generations are less violent and hostile. The media makes you think that it's out of hand. Its not.

I mean to be honest over 300 years who can keep track. Lol

Never bothered to research it, but it's a fascinating question. Why are serial killers usually middle-aged white men? Maybe that's urban legend, given about 60% of the population is white. But I have no idea what serial killers in other countries look like.
I assume it's all a combination of environmental/economic and cultural factors. But if I'm not mistaken, women are rarely mass murderers. Will be interesting if that changes as women become more "equal" in every sense in modern society.
Anyone see the video of all those innocent women and children throwing rocks at the military helicopter? JK it was a bunch of grown ass men who don't seem to be as peaceful as the media describes.
Also, Project Veritas, posted a supposed video of Beto's campaign admitting they were donating money to the caravan. Not sure how real it is.

IIRC Veritas has a record of being factually correct if not always contextually correct. I have no idea if this is true or not, but good God can you imagine if it is? What the fallout would be? whoooboy!
