So Trump cancels Eagles visit (after like only 2-3 people were going), and apparently neither NBA finals team is interested in going.

Good.   I never really understood this tradition.  Nothing more than a stupid and unnecessary photo op.  I assume most of this stuff (like pardoning a turkey for Thanksgiving) is about humanizing the POTUS with lighter moments so he's not always seen discussing only serious and heavy matters.

Yeah, I'm fine with the Eagles not going. It is kinda dumb.

Pretty annoying how the White House played it up like members of the Eagles did not stand when in fact they all did. Also, pretty bad for Fox to show pictures of Eagles players kneeling for prayer before the game, hinting it was during the anthem. 

The Eagles PR Dept. played it right and the White House made it sound like the players were being un-American, when in reality a lot of players just don't fucking like him. 

Imagine if the Penguins or the Red Sox did not want to go the WH when obama was in office .......racists.

It will be interesting to see how the 2018 elections play out, since the left almost literally spins EVERYTHING Trump says and does into either meat for his "racist base" (which, hypocritically, is a deeply offensive blanket statement) or a distraction from collusion/obstruction.  Was the 2016 election really a trend toward people rejecting and resenting the identity politics of labels like racist/sexist/homophobic every time they dare disagree with the liberal agenda?

Basically the entirety of the liberal "mainstream media" is something on par with Infowars during the Obama years.

I would have loved to have heard your response had Obama granted a special visit to Paris Hilton (or like) and then followed through on a request by said famous-for-being-famous reality TV star to pardon a US prisoner.

They should have seen what happened in the US and understood. Trump wasn't a catastrophe - Trump was a warning. And, obviously, one that wasn't heeded whatsoever.

So the liberal party not only lost the majority, but lost so many seats that they are not considered an "official" party that the government pays for their office space anymore. That number was 8, they had to hold 8 seats, instead they lost 48 of them taking them well under the 8 seats needed.

After the disaster their party leader resigned.
