Did anyone else not find Michelle wolf’s “roasting” funny at all? Like I get that’s why she was there and peopl need to relax that she insulted Sarah hucklebee sanders because that was the whole point of her being there, I just didn’t find anything she said funny at all. And libs are literally on the floor laughing.
I do find it funny that if the roles were reversed, and someone was up there saying those things to a democratic woman, there’d be OUTRAGE!
I found it to be very cringeworthy. She did a terrible job.
Spot on with how people would react if this were a democratic woman.

Laughing more at the “event honoring first amendment”, from a group of people who HATE free speech when you don’t agree with their agenda.

I caught portions and I chuckled at some of it, and Meh at other parts.
I do find it funnier the outage folks are having about it. What the fuck do you expect at an event like this? You ask for a roast, you get one.
The coverage is a fucking joke too. That CNN panel about a party about the media is one of the many reasons why it is easy to blast them.

I didn't watch it and don't really care about reactions. Trump doesn't exactly have a good reputation on his comments of women, so I think that his supporters are being hypocritical.
As for the quote above, who is asking for a roast? When more and more people are going to alternative media, who is asking for a roast? Is the media asking for it? The WH? Flyover country?

And minor details such as how, if we live in a society where the president regularly takes to social media to insult anyone he disagrees with or has an issue with, what do you expect is going to happen at a roast? People can have the "if it was being done to a liberal woman = OUTRAGE!!!!" point, but there's also the "funny how people who don't take issue with the tweetin' are up in arms because someone fired back at an event in the same sort of way" point. Neither really does much good for anyone, all things considered, but gotta keep the lowest common denominators interested!
Personally, the only good line she had of the few I heard was at the end when she blasted the media for how they made Trump what he is by jumping over themselves to regurgitate every single thing he says and guess what? A lot of media people are going after her simply to kiss ass to keep their access so they can continue to do so.
The only thing people should get offended from all of this is how atrocious her routine was. From a comedic standpoint it was much closer to Michael Richards' routine at the comedy factory than it was "brilliant." I'd expect everyone under this administration to be roasted. There is a shit ton of material, but at least be creative with it.

I did get a decent laugh when she said she wasn’t there to do anything, isn’t trying to accomplish anything and is just there to make a few people laugh, so she feels right at home with all the congress members there lol

This has been my issue with the left, in general, since Trump took office. Instead of running with the material readily given to them, they seem to think they need to make shit up to make Trump look worse than he actually is.

The female co lead in the show the crown is suing because her male coworker made more money than her. I’m confused, you can sue because someone makes more money than you? Can anyone sue anyone for making less money? Can a man sue for a woman making more money than him?
shoukdnt she just be mad at her agency for poor negotiating?

Utter Lunacy. How can you compare market value between 2 people legally? It's entirely subjective and as you mentioned, based on negotiations. The whole women should make as much as men no matter what opinion is so stupid (as is the 70 cents on the dollar garbage)

Let me guess- you're one of those types who believes only their religion is right?
This is actually a really dumb question. On multiple levels.

I have no idea who that idiot is, but I hope she and her ilk keep spewing their hate; they sound exactly like the utter fools they are.
My post meant nothing but the question asked. I have no idea who she is.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claire_Foy
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Smith_(actor)
Just a look at their respective wiki's tells you that Matt Smith is the more prolific and well-known actor over Claire Foy. So, why he gets paid more is not only understandable, but reasonable. He's also gotten many more awards and nominations than her, so that's also a thing.
Even with nuances, this is unjust. The left wants to espouse "equal pay for equal work" but this clearly isn't the actual case. What they REALLY want is equal pay for unequal careers.

Which all comes back to their belief in equal outcomes, and NOT equal opportunities. Like when the Southwest pilot was a woman, dumbass CNN was like but only 9% of pilots are women, this is a problem. BC women don't choose Piloting as a career morons not because it is an old boys club.

Well said. For the intersectional left women being paid less than men is always and everywhere a consequence of the historical and present oppression from the patriarchy. That's what it comes down to. There can be no liberty of contract in this world because there is no real liberty after all since we're all inevitably shacked by the invisible knapsacks of oppression.
I'm actually pleased to see that there are still lefties out there who don't buy into cultural marxism and everything that comes with it: intersectionality, critical theory, oppressive patriarchy, toxic masculinity, etc.
