Wait, why aren't we outraged that he, a man, interrupted her, a woman, to mansplain to her?

I did just assume their (neutral pronoun to be safe) gender. I feel just awful.

Is that what all those smart people call gender appropriation?

Females will be burdened to a greater degree because they will have to roam further for food and firewood.

To think she was one Russian hack away from being potus.

I can't believe high profile people actually believe and say this shit. The dems are going to have an internal problem between normal dems and the regressives.

They don't believe it.  That's the state of the Democratic party today - appealing to the lowest common denominator thru identity politics.

Thank god for the electoral college, because even the Dems haven't been able to keep the irrational dividers from taking over their party.

Considering a large part of Trump's base is people who, at the drop of a hat, will scream "THEY TOOK OUR JORRBBBBSSSS!!!!!!", I'd say that, sadly, pandering to the lowest common denominator is a pretty good way to get votes.

Yep, and that's what REALLY pissed off the regressives on the left.

Yet, if you actually look at Trump - a guy known to be crude, obnoxious and extremely direct - was very subtle in the way he did it, much more so than the Dems usually are.  TBH, I think a lot of his "appeal to the lowest common denominator" is a leftist talking point....by that I mean you hear a lot about "coded language" and "dog whistles" from a dullard with a 3rd grade vocabulary fond of saying whatever pops into his head.

So, uhh... Eric Holder may run for President?

"We'll see," Holder said when a reporter asked him about a possible run for president during a breakfast Wednesday hosted by the Christian Science Monitor in Washington.

Republicans will have a field day if so.

You have to admit it is funny to hear liberals say that blue states are the smart states, but then the "smartest" state (New York allegedly) is trying to pass a law to essentially tell people it is bad to eat laundry detergent.

I forgot about the potential big gulp ban.  It really didn't make sense to me considering most places offer unlimited refills on their sodas.  There is a pizza place (or 5) every block in Manhattan and somehow making soda more difficult to drink is going to help people make healthier decisions lmao.

Usually, it's really all about tax revenues.  But the idea that people are too stupid to make good decisions for themselves is uniquely liberal.  It takes a special kind of elitist dbag to think not only that they know better than you what you should do, but ALSO to feel self-important about making your choice for you.

Considering the sheer amount of people who destroy their body with no fucks given, I agree with this. But not the the extent where I feel the need to regulate their choice of soda size.
