Well I am glad you arrived to the same place that I have been for weeks.  Welcome!!

Well, I've been here for a little bit.  I just didn't automatically default to being at this point.  It was, more or less, when I heard what the polygraph questions were and that the therapy sessions in 2012 possibly didn't even mention him by name.  So, I suppose a couple weeks is probably fair.

Damn.  It doesn't feel like it's been that long.

the 60 minute interview was BS last night, How could you not have asked the Dem senator Coons whether the FBI investigation would change his vote if he it comes out and they find nothing?

If the FBI investigation would change his vote, that would mean that he would have voted 'aye' for Kavanaugh in the first place.

I think we all know he wouldn't have.  As such, it doesn't seem like a fruitful question.

I predict the FBI will find some witnesses who say he was a heavy drinker, to the point of being sick/blacking out multiple times.  And then will have a screaming shit-show about how Kavanaugh perjured himself and therefore cannot be confirmed.

Still really hung-up on her BFF claiming not to even know Kavanaugh.

Has anyone read Mitchell's memo?  I love how the left is saying it's a partisan report, but I would love to see them actually refute any of the facts she laid out.

Ha, as if anyone can prove if someone is blacked out or not. He admitted to drinking, which is the oddest part about this witch hunt. He said he drank a lot, just to not black out. It's a dumb thing to even be going after a guy for. Smells of desperation.

I agree it's dumb to boil this down to whether he lied or not about how much he drank.  But people can certainly attest to him not remembering events & conversations the next day after a night of heavy drinking.

I also think the FBI will uncover that Ford was a big-time party girl, which will call into question her claim of having had only 1 beer.

Also, the way Ford describes the event, it was a very coordinated and predatory plan...which I wouldn't think would be a one-time deal but that there would be other credible accusers out there.

If the media wanted to actually make good news the question is good.  His blinding partisanship would be revealed.

Ford's attorneys still won't provide the therapist notes...

Oh, I'd say his blind partisanship is already pretty self-evident.

Hell, I'm pretty sure most of the congressional body can be assumed to be blindly partisan on most issues.

That's pretty much the foundation of her credibility.  At least get the therapist to confirm what is allegedly in those notes.  Also begs the question if she perhaps has been treated for mental illness what that potentially does to her credibility.

Press playing their "what if" game with Trump.  Just tell them "wait for the FBI report" and move on.

With regard to mental illness affecting her credibility, I'd hope that wouldn't be the case without some other pattern of deception.  I'd hope we'd have the wherewithal to treat someone struggling with kleptomania differently than someone getting therapy for sleep issues or anxiety.

I get not wanting to release all the notes.  There might be more in the notes than just what would be relevant to the case, and anything that isn't pertinent to the case should, ideally, be preserved as a matter of privacy.

But your suggestion of getting the therapist sworn in and on record would be a great way to satisfy the needs of an investigation while still allowing Ford her medial privacy on anything not directly related to the investigation.

I'm not a lawyer and this is not a court of law, but if she's introduced the therapist notes as corroborating evidence, shouldn't she have to actually provide those notes?  I feel like making that claim under oath in a court of law would be waving confidentiality to those medical records.

If she introduced the whole of them, probably, but my guess is that that can get hairy.  If she only sought to submit into evidence a portion of them, then certainly, it shouldn't require the rest.

Look at thus chorus of entitled white men justifying a serial rapist's arrogated entitlement.
All of them deserve miserable deaths while feminists laugh as they take their last gasps. Bonus: we castrate their corpses and feed them to swine? Yes.

Christine Fair's account is suspended right now. I saw people going after @Jack because the actor James Woods account was banned for saying that some crazy people were crazy but Fair's account wasn't suspended yet.

I'm seeing more and more people, also, wanting places such as Twitter to be classified as a public utitility so that this sort of thing doesn't keep happening. Conservative accounts have been targeted for a while now, while antifa still has accounts along with hamas accounts. There have been lefty accounts suspended or banned outright only AFTER enough people point this out. My immediate reaction is to reject this, but I will also admit that there have been some fair arguments.

FUCK that. If @jack keeps it up, be patient, because I could see a competitor for Twitter in the future.

It's very reminiscent of Clinton's impeachment. Started out with land deals and ended up with a blue dress. The republicans can thank themselves for this because they drew up the blueprints.

They keep pretending he said he didn't drink a lot, which is categorically not true. They also don't know the difference between blacking out or passing out. I'm just waiting for them to claim a week wasn't long enough, even though it was their own idea. Swetnick looked like a complete moron. Hope McConnel finally sticks to his guns and they vote on Friday. Flake can then vote yes and not be afraid of his dem friends.
