Nike:  when you don’t do common sense you do stupid liberal charades.  They are being broiled right now, deservedly so.

Reports also say he has been getting paid by Nike this whole time, which proves my point (and many others) from the beginning that Kaep never wanted to work in the NFL again.  He can make much more money from this than he could as a backup QB, plus he doesn't have to worry about doing any damage to his brain.

I LOL at anyone who actually thinks Kaep made a sacrifice.  The dude was benched before he started this shit.  If he legitimately cared, he would have made a stand when he was doing well.  Perhaps during the SB run?  I guess fighting against "oppression" of blacks is only worth the team distraction if your team sucks ass and your career is falling apart.

inb4 gblock tells us he is neutral on this topic and then proceeds to defend Kaep until he dies.

Is it possible that he didn't start protesting yet because there had not yet been a series of questionable killings of unarmed black people that garnered widespread media attention???

What are conservatives going to do as these big business libs in liberal cities keep determining that librul charades are in the best long term interest of their shareholders?

The markets were about even today; Under Armour up 2%, Nike down over 3%.

Take care.

I don’t know, maybe dress up like lunatics and resist with screaming tantrums.

I really doubt Nike is worried about old white dudes who buy one pair of sneakers a year. Young people support Kap, and young people are going to continue giving Nike a lot of money for a very long time.

No, considering a few highly publicized shootings happened around the time the niners were actually good with Kaepernick.  Not to mention liberals have been telling us how blacks have been oppressed for 50+ years now. Swing and a miss with this theory.

I'll give him credit, he found a way to make money when he knew his NFL career was imploding.

Aside from the fact most of the shareholders are "old white dudes" you're 100% correct.

Lol some crazy libs are calling the woman who sat behind kavanuagh at the hearing today a white supremacist bc her hand was in the ok side on her arm. Problem is, she’s part Mexican and Jewish and not a white supremacist...

I read this post earlier this morning. Just a few minutes ago I logged into Twitter, it's been a few days since I checked it out. One of the first damn threads I see is this one: https://twitter.com/eugenegu/status/1037063912896643072

How do these crazy protestors keep getting into the hearings?   How many violent/obnoxious protestors do you think suffer from poor mental health?  To begin with, you don't become that radical because you're smart and well informed...

What happens when women finally realize that the SCOTUS justices mean it when they say "abortion is settled law"?  I see the dam breaking on identity politics within the next 10 years.

Its a public hearing....you just get in line and get in. It's not hard.

I laughed at that. My favorite is the pic of NBA players giving the symbol after a 3 and saying they are white supremacists.

Part of me says keep everyone out, period, except the senators and Kavanaugh, since it is obvious that the ridiculous outbursts are staged.  The other part of me says let the liberals keep making jackasses of themselves.

It's a public hearing. Protests are a part of the process. Always have been and always will be. Let people have their say, even if it is staged.

Yeah, that guy is absolutely bonkers.

I use the white supremacist signal as a litmus test of how seriously I should take someone. Namely, if you have ever bought into it as some sort of dogwhistle for racists I know I can disregard everything you say. It makes for great comedy, though.

I dunno, man.  In 2013 and 2014, he did pretty well.  Over his career, he was a 60% passer with a TD:INT ratio of 2.4:1.  His Y/A and Y/C are low, but none of his numbers look bad.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not picking him up in a fantasy league or anything.  He's not a stud QB, but he'd be a better-than-average QB2 on most teams, and possibly even a starter on a few teams some years.
