Best case scenario he loses the ‘20 election. Impeachment would be bad for the country. Would only further divide the US and the economy would have a meltdown.

Just let him keep snorting adderalls until 2020 and then get someone the hell else in there.

Impeachment as in from the house where it will die in the Senate? I think the dems trying to impeach in the house will fire up the right again (like Kav). I think the left should just ride it out hope their own primary process doesn't kill all of their own.

It may very well die in the Senate as they need a two-thirds majority to convict, which would mean that 20 R's would have to vote for.......but we will see the process start and be affirmed in the House and go to the Senate, which I hate to see as it will do nothing but add to the divisiveness in our country.

2020 will be Trump losing in the primary to someone else.  He wont have a chance at being president.

THe primary winner runs at Trump lite and crushes the dems easily.

To go after the first lady.......complete classless move.  Media has hit a new bottom.  If Trump was a Dem she would be a media darling.

Yeah, this isn't exactly a fair assessment.  It brings up a few points that make sense, but it takes leaps that either aren't warranted, or at least the foundations for those statements are never given.

What's more, likening her position to her husband's is hardly fair for statements like valuing evidence in court cases.  That's silly.

And frankly, who is to say that any likeness in policy to her husband that is indeed categorically unsavory isn't merely the result of having to live with him?  We do tend to be influenced by those we spend time with, for better or worse.

This piece mostly made a story ex nihilo.

Impeachment is just the Dem version of Benghazi (a.k.a bullshit).

I think it's funny people are now talking about indictments for the hush money.  Obama was fined like $330k for campaign finance violation, a FINE (the actual violations totaled in the millions) that exceeds what Trump spent in total on the NDA's.

I continue to expect Trump to declare "mission accomplished" after 4 years and choose not to run for re-election.  If he does, I think there will be an unprecedented primary challenge to a POTUS running for re-election.

While I think most things Trump has done have amounted to little more than trolling liberals...How in the world are he and Congress withholding paychecks from 800k workers (or whatever it is).  5 frickin' billion dollars on a nearly $5T budget.  It doesn't get much more petty and trivial than this.

And I blame Trump like 99% for this since it was a Republican Congress that didn't give him the money.

It's also a little hard to believe with all the reckless spending in Washington that they can't divert a few billion from a wall from any of dozens of other budgets.

Wellp, he did say he would own the shutdown.  Anyone else think he is pulling troops from the middle east, so he can fund the wall with DoD funds?  Is that too woke?

THat is what you call being a leader.  Making decisions without having your political buddies telll you that the decisions dont poll well.  Why in the heell do we spend over $100 billion protecting borders of other countries and not spend $5 billion to protect our own?

Your posts are no different than the posts that come from the Obama sheep.  Very predictable.

It has absolutely nothing to do with money; it has everything to do with defeating Trump.  Hopefully he will not budge one inch, and continue to expose the left for their immeasurable hypocrisy, and blatant disregard for the security of the nation.  Trump needs to do a prime-time national address on this matter, and blow up these jackasses.

Yes, Trump was for owning the shutdown before he was against it.

It really tells you something about the state of politics in America that Congress - whether Republican or Democrat led - just doesn't say "fuck it, this is ridiculous....here's the $5B".

Seems Twitter, the blogosphere and Cable News are slowly ushering the lowest common denominator into politics.

CC is the right-wing version of those "Obama gonna buy me a phone!!!!" people from '08. Puts the absolute minimum amount of thought into things, preferring to regurgitate the most lazy talking points imaginable, whether it be in support or opposition to a person or issue.

Calling it a republican Congress is a little disingenuous since without a super majority in the Senate the Ds could and did block any bill they wanted. They would have needed 9 D votes in the senate to pass  the wall. The HoR did pass it. The Senate never brought the bill to the floor because they didn’t have the D votes needed.

I was waiting for which republican poster would jump on, quote gut’s post, and blame the democrats. Jmog is the winner!

I am not a republican, but nice try. Sorry that pointing out facts hurt your feelings.

I am a libertarian, so I piss off many conservative republican friends too.

Amazing how the left views anyone that doesn't believe everything they do as a far right conservative though ;).

Except I’m not “the left” way to go blaming democrats again!

I don't know that "blame" is totally accurate. To me, "working as the founders intended" is more like it.
