I don't have enough faith in anyone's competence to keep that sort of thing quiet, given the number of people you'd have to have on board.

As the number of people necessary for a conspiracy increases, the likelihood of it decreases.

You read that right.  Your coup is Alex Jones-type stuff.  According to you theory, the conspiracy exists.  It is tight enough that it has been kept quiet even though countless people are in on it.  But as amazing as it is to keep itself in the deep, secret state, it still wasn't competent enough to pull off the coup.

thanks for making my points for me.

You have yet to formulate one of your own, so I'm happy to oblige.

While still not impressed by Trump, I haven't been pissed at him for a little while. I think the last time I was truly pissed was when he signed the budget bill that was outrageous simply because of what was allotted to the military. That doesn't mean I don't still roll my eyes at him or try not to listen to anything he says. I think I'm just getting better at dismissing him.

Impeachment as in from the house where it will die in the Senate? I think the dems trying to impeach in the house will fire up the right again (like Kav). I think the left should just ride it out hope their own primary process doesn't kill all of their own.
