Ok.....Why is CNN main story at this moment a bunch of "good economy" stories?  THey dont report news straight up.  THere has to either be a trump slam or Dem bump in there.

No one seems to think well of CNN.  Fine.  But why keep watching it and keeping track of it?  Who cares?

So I see that the main story tonight is that Mueller wrote Barr a letter that he didnt like what he said about investigation.  Really?  This is news?

Article also says “When Barr pressed him whether he thought Barr’s letter was inaccurate, Mueller said he did not, but felt that the media coverage of the letter was misinterpreting the investigation, officials said.”

But twitter losers, CNN especially, are acting like it’s some conspiracy and Barr should be impeached. Laughable.

I suppose they don't really care if Barr and Mueller testifying blows up in their face.....it's just a chance to grandstand.  I think we can predict Congress will be doing most of the testifying.

The hosts like Bret Baier and Wallace aren't the ones doing the shilling on those shows - they get to hide behind the nut jobs they put on the "All Star Panel" who do the shilling.

The panels are almost always bipartisan and Baier/Wallace/etc don't take side or a position.  Not sure what program you're watching.

I'm guessing you may be like another poster I saw a while back who watched the same program I did - got triggered by the far right perspective and completely missed the moderate left/right and far left perspectives.  It was hilarious - he literally blacked out and missed 2 of the 4 perspectives were Democrat arguments.

You beat me to it.  They are going to be extremely disappointed when the Mueller testimony confirms he does not disagree with Barr's summary.  The testimony is when the left will fully turn on Mueller.

“The special counsel emphasized that nothing in the attorney general’s March 24 letter was inaccurate or misleading,”

It’s as if people cannot read and comprehend.

If nothing was inaccurate or misleading, why did Mueller not like what he had to say about it? It'd have to be one of those 2 you'd think?

Because Mueller looks like a dumbass or partisan hack for dragging this out for 2 years when he knew within 5 minutes it was bullshit

The better question is, if you or anyone still believes it is inaccurate, then why did Mueller say it wasn't inaccurate?   Hopefully someone asks him why he was upset during his testimony.   My guess based on Democrats grilling Barr today, is because he asked Barr to release 19 pages near the end of March and Barr didn't do it.  Instead, Barr released the entire thing 3 weeks later, which included those 19 pages.  If that is what the media is grasping onto then LOL.

Yea I mean the entire redacted report is out there. If he had a problem with the letter (that Barr asked if he wanted to see) than he can shove it (his complaint seemed to be more with the public perception driven by the media). The dumbass display of idiots at the hearing today is enough to turn anyone off of politics.

According to Barr's testimony Mueller was upset at the press coverage of the summarized conclusions and wanted more released.  Barr like you said saw no reason to release it piecemeal and released everything weeks later.  I also saw Barr in his testimony said he wondered why Mueller did not just pick up the phone and call him.  Which Barr ended up doing after receiving the letter.

The letter was a political hit job designed to be leaked at an opportune time in the future to paint a picture of Barr acting in a manner to provide the POTUS political cover.

Also I thought Mueller's body language indicated he highly pissed when he was jumped getting into his car by hostile press.  I know we all would be and would probably not be able to risk the urge to tell the reporter to GFY.  But I guess my political spider senses were tingling.

lol I actually didn't know until now.  This isn't a matter of second guessing the media though.  Barr explained why Mueller was upset in a sworn statement.  That seems like a very dumbass thing to lie about considering it could easily be refuted.  If you're going to lie and put your career/reputation/legacy/etc on the line, it better be something that is hard to refute.

I figured it was insurance if the POTUS or DOJ didn't release the full report.  I also think, since no crime was proven, it's sour grapes over not being able to define the narrative and prosecute Trump in the court of public opinion.

There's also the possibility since Barr is looking into the foundations of the investigation, that the letter is a first step into discrediting Barr.  And then Dems on the committee today all heard that dog whistle.  The sudden eagerness to "impeach" Barr is kind of curious.

You have to wonder why a guy of Barr's prior political reputation would subject himself to this.  He does not strike me as a shill for Trump.  Maybe he feels a calling to restore the integrity of the justice department and punish bad actors.  We will see.

You got to love the irony of Senator Blumenthal questioning Barr's integrity and pronouncing history's harsh judgement upon him.

I agree that the takes that Bush 41's AG is suddenly a Trumpist shill is basically the worst take.

It was a deep state leak, perfectly time as usual, designed to protect themselves and provide (weak) firepower for the left in their never-ending quest to resist the disruptor. It is fucking sickening.

Barr’s statement was spot on:  “we have to stop using the judicial process as a political weapon”.

All the major news outlets reporting on the Trump economy........WUT?

My guess is that they are actually reporting the news positively for DT just so when there is a downturn they can blast him.

You can always tell when people don't understand how unemployment is calculated lol. I see a lot of people saying unemployment is very high, the same people just have 4 jobs. Now... underemployment  could be used here. But they're not counting a same person as 4 diferent people.

Regardless since Obama underscored his jobs report for years.....that metric makes Trumps numbers about 3 times better then tue previous administration

You are absolutely batshit nuts.  I don’t doubt your intelligence, but you are so consumed by conspiracy craziness that it does you no good here.  You sound like Alex Jones.
