Kind of off topic, and maybe every network is guilty of this, but ever notice on CNN EVERYTHING is breaking news. I swear you could turn on CNN at any point of the day and there's a 75% chance something is breaking news. Hell I turned it on just now and the headline is "BREAKING NEWS: State attorney to speak out against Smollett case"

Fake news outlets ratings fall about 90% Monday after Trump is vindicated.  Seems people didn't like fake news

This is not unique to CNN......all of the news outlets lead with 'Breaking News'.  Even the local Columbus NBC, CBS and ABC affiliates.

As S&L stated, it is to get people to watch.  Soon, it will be the boy who cried wolf (Blitzer).

Wolf is probably the best "breaking news" media person.  When he says those words I think he truely believes it.

Mueller: Obstruction by Trump failed because others refused to "carry out orders"

LOL at CNN headline.....so basically Trump is so bad that he failed at obstruction

Did you expect the headline to read “Media and deep state failed to bring down Trump”?

The  money line to come out of the report is going to be "over 100 contacts with Russia....[and Wikileaks]".  Throwing text messages with Wikileaks in there probably increased the hit count significantly.  I didn't bother to look if details were provided if those were mutual connections, or unreturned and unsolicited attempts from Russia.

Otherwise, I'm not sure that's a large number of contacts.  A Presidential campaign is going to have a mix of long-time political insiders, maybe with a mix of people from global corporations.  I'd expect a fair number of perfectly legitimate contacts with Russia, China, Middle East, etc...I guarantee Hillary, Podesta and Abedin probably rack-up a pretty impressive hit count there themselves.

Oh but wait.....under Obama we are supposed to be a "global" community and our economy depends on foreign contact.....cant have it both ways.  All of a sudden things like speaking to Russia is a bad thing (when Obama called them the "JV" teams)  So contacts with Russia is only bad if you are Trump....ok got it.

Media meltdown is putting Chernobyl to shame.  Hilarious; they just don’t get it, and obviously NEVER will.

It's being pushed as the "evidence" falling just short of reasonable doubt.  I don't really know how it should be properly characterized, but it seems to me if you are going to have foreign policy advisors those people, if they have any experience at all, are going to have a number of Russian contacts (and/or Chinese, etc...).

The only one that stood out to me as potentially unusual is Stone, but I'd suspect most of his contacts were tweets/texts to Wikileaks.  And has been pointed out, a bunch in the media were doing the same thing.

CNN having a 9 person panel to discuss the report was ELECTRIC TV.

Meanwhile Fox News spends 5 hours a day covering AOC.

Filler, before the indictments of Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Brennan, Clapper, Rice, Yates, Simpson, Ohr, Ohr et.al. come out and we move toward real justice.

So, while Notre Dame was burning, I was at the gym.  Fox News was covering that epic event, while CNN paraded a series of Trump bashers...one after the other......offering that they all believe that Trump was guilty.  90 minutes of this.

Stark contrast, even though I don't think either is a 'news network'.  Both offer opinion as fact and therefore, IMHO, disqualify themselves as news networks.  CNN is just worse because they never try to hide their agenda.

If you watch the straight news folks on Fox - Baier, Wallace, Cavuto, Shep...basically the non-primetime folks, it's decent.  CNN's straight news has become pretty biased, to the point they almost offer more opinion than actual facts.

There is nothing decent about Fox News or pretty much any media outlet these days.

You obviously don't watch Baier of Wallace or other straight news reporters on Fox, and associate the network only with Hannity.

The hosts like Bret Baier and Wallace aren't the ones doing the shilling on those shows - they get to hide behind the nut jobs they put on the "All Star Panel" who do the shilling. Baier, Shep and Wallace of had their moments during the Trump presidency but look they have to feel somewhat culpabable in setting loose Frankenstein's monster. The Murdoch sons (I saw one of them gave a max contribution to Buttigieg) I think are going to slowly turn the tide away from what their Father built.

But IMHO debating whether MSNBC, CNN, Fox News are the greatest shills for their cause is pointless. They are all terrible for America. Anybody with a life should not have that much time for news that is really filtering liberal or conservative propaganda.. Just turn off cable news altogether. The only tv news I watch is the local CBS news and Jeff Glor on the CBS evening news if I catch it before Jeopardy. Being a dad now with much less news and political commentary consumption - my sense is that it was better this way than the current world of endless political news and commentary.

I don’t really follow them, no. When I see something from there, though, I typically enjoy it.

One of the Murdoch sons is a lib, the other is a conservative.
