ManO'War
I don't think he interviewed anyone, he just wrote what he reads off of the internet.FairwoodKing;404418 wrote:Does that mean we're not playing McKeesport in week 2? -
Red LadyI haven't seen any mention lately of the new west endzone. For all you out of towners, it's lookin good - real good. The structural beams are all RED. It's hard to tell at this point, but it looks like the stands might go up higher than the old ones. They haven't started on the seats yet, but I do hope they will be covered in red vinyl. Also, I hope something special is done for our band; at least a Big Red Band sign. A cover would be awesome.

FairwoodKingYes, they should put in a band shell when they rebuild the west bleachers. There was talk of doing it back in 1966 when the bleachers were installed, but nothing ever materialized. Even a simple roof would be sufficient.

war_admiralJust to help out with your post Red Lady...

The EqualizerAre those going to end up being the type of seating where you can look down and see the ground?
-
ManO'WarNo, they are fully enclosed.

ManO'WarPer the Big Red Ticket Office: Week two @ Woodland Hills Pa. Vs McKeesport at 11 am is now official.

SUPER787So, if you are correct, where does that put Akron Buchtel on week two? Do they also go to Woodland Hills and play another team; like the situation in Wheeling last year?
Cheers. -

Rumor has it that Buchtel will play PCC at Woodland Hills. So far, the rumors have been accurate. -
SUPER787I haven't called the ticket office yet, but I see that season tickets are on sale for $52.00 for each seat.
How does that break down? They must know the schedule by now.
We usually wait until August for ours; just curious how that plays out.
Cheers -

The tickets will be $56. That breaks down to six regular home games at $6 each and two rally games at $10 each. Non-season ticket holders will have to pay $15 per ticket for the Rally in Death Valley on September 25.
The problem is that Big Red fans will be required to leave their seats after Big Red plays. I have no idea where we are supposed to go. -

FairwoodKingYou guys better be nice to me. Don't forget, I'm moving home in a few weeks.

SUPER787Thanks. That makes more sense. The $52.00 did't jibe. But, the way the schedule rumors have gone, who knows.
Cheers. -
