I guess maybe you should think about that union more before you ask. If you think you are going to be miserable, you don't ask.ManO'War wrote: So you would enter into that union and spend the rest of your life being miserable just so people wouldn't think bad about you???

Hey, you're the one who seems to be perplexed at why peoplet hink Big Red looks silly here. They had every right to back out, but you have to at least understand why most people are being a little critical.ManO'War wrote:

People criticize us for everything, so this is nothing new. The school doesn't care what outsiders think.ts1227 wrote:

No one has brought up the possibility that the school members changed their minds when they saw how unpopular this move was with the fans. Considering the comments on these blogs, I'm sure the school got a lot of negative feedback. Maybe they thought the fans wouldn't support it (although that is highly unlikely). It just makes you wonder. -
Strapping Young LadWho cares besides you 4 guys??? No one.

A lot of people care about Big Red. That's why there are more than 100 Big Red posters on this blog and JJ.Strapping Young Lad wrote: Who cares besides you 4 guys??? No one. -

Yeah because there is nothing else to do in Steubenville except drive up Sunset and tear out your axle.FairwoodKing wrote:

ts1227I get everything you said, Fairwood. But any schools with success has a more fans, thus more idiot fans (not you). Those idiots are often the vocal ones, as they seem to lack that mechanism between their brains and mouths that limits what they spout off, its like that at every level of sports.
When people come off as arrogant, others are going to gloat when they get a little egg on their faces. Give a little, take a little. -

There is nothing to gloat about. The Big Red administrators obviously found a reason why they did not want to join. It is likely that the rest of us will never know what that reason was.ts1227 wrote: I get everything you said, Fairwood. But any schools with success has a more fans, thus more idiot fans (not you). That and you can buy a house for the price of a beta max. -

Yes, that entered into my decision. I'm on disability and my social security check will stretch a lot farther in Steubenville than it does in Seattle.bases_loaded wrote:FairwoodKing wrote:
