  Why didn't police watch the feed, give somebody a walkie talkie and then find the guy doing the feed on Ustream? Even if it wasn't KnightSec, I'm sure that person could have given them valuable information

  Because the guy doing the feed can just say that he has no information and then the police would have absolutely no reason to hold him.

  Now that we have called each other nasty names, what do we do to heal? I'm not worried about Big Red football, I'm worried about the school. It was very good to me. I received a good education there and they certainly prepared me for college.

  There is no "getting out of this mess." That's part of the problem...that Big Red supporters feel that they need to "get out of this mess." All that can be done now is for anyone involved in any way (whether it be they were at the party, knew about it and didn't say anything, tried to cover it up, etc.) to come forward and take their punishment. Coaches that knew and didn't do anything need to resign. Administrators that helped to sweep this under the rug need to resign. The crooked sheriff and prosecutor that didn't do their due diligence to bring about justice in favor of helping out the football team need to resign. And all of them need to face any type of punishment/prosecution that comes along with it.
  
  "Getting out of this mess" isn't an option. Blowing up the system and starting from scratch is the only option.

  The fanboys will deny it, but Reno Sackashit is the de facto most powerful person in that city. No healing can take place without that changing. He needs to decide to "retire". The dog needs to start wagging the tail instead of vice-versa. Nothing wrong with enthusiastic support of sports, but they've taken it to a sick extreme and perspective is needed.

  Watch that video and try to validate your original comments. If you try, then you need help. Steubenville is screwed. There is no getting out of this. There is nothing they can do to heal. The best they can hope for is that they take down everyone involved in this whole situation and hope time will let be forgive them. Other than that, there's nothing the town can do.

  The tail that is Big Red football needs to quit wagging the dog. The football coach needs to quit being the de facto most important man in the city. He must be informed that he has decided to retire. Somehow, the city needs to become re-educated about the purpose of sports being about more than points on the scoreboard, character needs to matter again (I'm assuming it once did).
