7th grade team has good numbers and have some pretty good athletes.
8th grade low numbers not as good.
9th grade good athletes as well a lot of them got varsity pt last season.

chase should taka a step up next yr at qb with a yr under his belt. The sophs have decent numbers as well, although there are more individual standouts in the freshman class. There will again be very few seniors in 2012 as the jr and sr classes this year had very few players. When you saw how many 9th and 10th graders were on the filed at any one time this year, you knew it would be an uphill climb, hopefully that pays dividends eventually. I agree with beverboy, though on next yr. Around .500, then I see them back in the mix the following season.

Turned their program around and got the school's first playoff win ever. So I guess you'll be quiet now right? Yeah right.
You bash the hell out of the guy and he's been here a whole 10 games. Give the guy a chance (especially considering what he inherited).
BTW, no way he goes to Smithieland. Just a few goofs on here putting 2+2 together and getting 5.
Billy Boy went 34-48 from 95-02 at Chillicothe. He did indeed win a playoff game.
He did not....turn the program around as the two previous coaches went 61-31 with 2 playoff appearances from 85-94.
with a record of 65-107 (.377) over the last 17 seasons.....I would say he has had PLENTY of chances.....
I do agree with you that he won't end up in Smithville.......they like to win.

Those kids seem to be raised in the system, is it any different with the new head coach?
  • beverboy1
not really but time will tell !

its early with Doty running things, but he has been in "the system" for a long time, so I expect it to continue.

The freshman class is the best class Dalton's seen in awhile.

    Oh the horror ...
He would be wiser to update his own program/resume:mad:

Looks like the Smitties will open the season with Loudonville. Sounds like a good matchup to begin next football season.

Good Week One game, the Birds should give them some Harbin points if they win.
