You want you're... Not your... the contraction for you are is appropriate. Not the possessive form of the words your/you're

Unfortunately you are correct. I was on some of those teams, hey you got to start somewhere

You too are correct. Maltarich helped lay a solid foundation and Harbour and crew stepped into the perfect storm.

Maltarich was the first coach to actually get the kids in the weight room and make men out of them. It always just seemed like prier coaches just figured " hey they are farm boys their tuff"

Plenty to say...alot to comment on...but I won't waste my time.

Just wanted to note: Since the construction of the new concession/locker room facilty, Bears fans are eerily similar to what Wooster games are/were like. The stands are empty and folks are just socializing around the fence and concession area. Is the food THAT good??? Or is interest lost in the actual games due to.........(fill in the blank). I dont know. just a thought from Beast.

Maybe 2 1st string OL played the 3rd and part of 4th quarters the center, only because of injury to the back ups, and #64 which i think is a soph(????).....most of the 4th quarter was played by the Freshman.....Norwayne did what they needed to do by calling off the dogs.......

Please lets not get into the same conversation we did last year about running the score up or being classeless!!!!!... A running clock is not an option for the coaches, that has to be diecided by the refs if I am not mistaken.

The riciculous motion on the fake punt screamed for the defense to key on it and yes was a huge swing of momentum in the game.

The former youth coach did alot of damage, I will not deny th::at. I will say that Hillsdale and Norwayne has it going positive from the ground up with everyone on the same page. What is Waynedales youth/jr high doing on offense to coincide with vars
ity? Is Z involved in anyway with establishing the program from the ground up? Are things just done how they always have been? BTW his 1st 2 years he inherited a team that was established and it was general concensus to hand Nofsinger the ball.
He is very involved with establishing the program from the ground up. HE is the one who made the decision to relieve the "former youth coach" of his duties. He is always in communication with his lower level coaches.

"Inherited a team that was established"? They were 3-7 and 5-5 the two years prior to him taking over. That's established? However, he was an assistant for those teams and he was responsible for the off-season lifting program. So if they were "established" then he deserves a little credit for that.

"It was the general concensus to hand Nofsinger the ball"? So you would agree that you have to have the horses to win? Right? Do we have any "horses" right now? Plus, if everyone in the stadium knew Nofsinger was getting the ball, he must have come up with game plans to make him successful. Right? Probably not.

Like I have always said on here....It's easy to 2nd guess from the peanut gallery aka "the fence".

Whoa there. I seem to have struck a nerve. Good to know he is involved at the younger levels. You insinuate I'm in the peanut gallery aka the fence, you don't have a clue! Where, may I ask is it that you get the priviledge to watch the game? Where is it that you get all your Mr Know it all facts?

It doesn't matter where I am standing/sitting when I watch the games...I am a true fan and always will be. Are there times when I don't agree with everything the coaches do? Absolutely. However, I have the utmost confidence in the coaching staff that they are doing the best for our kids and I keep those thoughts to myself.

Seems like maybe I am the one who struck a nerve with you. Are you going to answer the questions in my last post? Come on expert.

wcalfan;1272522 wrote:Wow, sounds like we have a coach here. I feel so much better now. Are you ready to take over the program? It is real easy to criticize from the peanut gallery, isn't it? What are your credentials?

Let's just say Coach Z wasn't our coach...who in the world are we going to get? In today's world you don't just create teaching positions for coaches. Plus, who would want to come into a situation where everyone thinks they are an expert.

Again, I will ask this like I did last year with the "Golden Bear Expert". During Coach Z's first 4 years, we won the league 2 times and made the playoffs 3 times. Why is that? Did he just get dumber over the years? Let's hear your response to that one....this should be good.
You are very right on this one, it takes time erode a progarm and as you said it would be hard for someone to work into a program that is bordering on collaspe, just ask Mr. Wolf. We are almost there another year or two.
And I read something else you mentioned this senior class has never won from want I heard some parents say is the class won all leauge games as freshmen but they are missing some who decide football was not for them OR they have no respect for Z.
Z was a heck of a football player really enjoyed watcing him play, but that does not make you a great coach or even a good one, if you have boys giving up sports because of a coach that is a problem in sports and bussiness, and if your talking about one or two kids but we are not its many. Love chatting with you!!

Really would not be putting that out there Var-0-4, JV 1-3, 8th-0-4, 7th- 0-4, really hope he has not reached into the peewee progarm, but there is no way it could be the system he has installed got to be the kids and parents and fence hangers!

Not that it looks a whole lot better but your numbers are wrong. 7th/8th have won a game each (both vs. Rittman) and the 9th graders are 2-1.

What about these current 9th graders that didn't lose a game in middle school? They were running "the system" and it seemed to work for them. Hmmmm. It all goes back to the simple fact that you must have good players to win games. There is no other way around it and right now we just don't have enough of them in the upper grades.

Not a coach as you are, BUT if i was going to put this one o-line, maybe i would go power I, left, right up the middle, power left, power I right, mix in the pass. That way you have a couple extra blockers to create the crease, when the decide to put 9 or 10 in the box to stop it THROW, love talking with, its really pretty simple, but so am I, maybe you sould walk over to the fence sometime!
