Fixed. Didn't know I was full. There's no warning like on other sites.Go Falcons;985941 wrote:Pit: empty your mail, can not send you a PM.
I am not exactly sure where we'll be, yet. My guess would be in one of the 3 main parking lots, either on top of the hill West of the baseball field, behind the stadium just East of the baseball field, or at the South end of the park near the Teen Center. Again, I'm doing 3 1/2 hours of driving before arriving at the stadium (Conneaut to Wooster to New Philadelphia). I'm hoping someone gets there first and saves some spots.Mr. Russell;985951 wrote:Pit, where and when are you guys doing the tailgate? Mr. Russell and his dad and brother maybe making the trip and could contribute to the festivities.
THE4RINGZ, 1_beast, and Big Falcons - I'm depending on you three to let me know via text/call when you get there and if you have spots saved, in case you beat me to the stadium, so I know where to congregate. If one of you knows you're getting there early (earlier than my goal of 4:00), and where you'll be parking, please post so everyone is aware. If anyone else wants my cell phone number to help coordinate, feel free to PM me or send me an email at thepitman13 (@gmail.com). If this would help, you can follow me on Twitter (@PITmanStats and @AndrewMarcum), and I can Tweet that I'm there and where I'm at. Just a thought. Let me know.
I'm excited for this game. Again, I have a gut feeling Johnstown-Monroe matches up better with Norwayne than the last few teams have. The Bobcats will have to play a stellar game on defense to win, IMO. However, that would be expected for any team to reach the state semifinals. Good luck to the Bobcats! I hope you come away with a win!
BTW - Here's the ticket scoop in Norwayne, per The Daily Record:
"Presale tickets for Saturday’s state semifinal game at New Philadelphia vs. Johnstown will be on sale in the high school office Tuesday and Wednesday during office hours.Tickets will also be available at the Creston Insurance Center office on Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ticket prices are $8 presale and $10 at the gate. Norwayne H.S. is accepting cash only for presale tickets." -

**YES...AND, do not turn it over this wk. Be real sweet if we can cause them to cough it up a couple times instead of having to overcome ours. Keep penalties to a min. Those killed Girard. They actually had us, but couldn't put us away. Unbelievable game to see. I'll have another please. -
JHS PRIDEI will have to say Bobcats sure have alot of weapons to go to, sure gonna be a challenge for our D. Both teams have a star player but I think its gonna take the whole team to pull together, Johnnies are gonna need to play with heart, passion, and focus all 4Qters because thats what its gonna take to have a chance against those Bobcats, they gonna need to bring there A game for this one, gonna be a dog fight or (catfight) all the way to the end. Very excited for thos one.
GO JOHNNIES!!!!!! -

Please get 2 for me. I wasn't sure how I was going to make it tomorrow, so that'd really help. Remember - they're not at the high school tomorrow. They're at some other place (listed in one of my previous posts). Thank you very much!THE4RINGZ;986203 wrote:Prolly gonna head to Creston tomorrow for tickets. adogI hate it that my team is out of the play-offs, but it sure is fun to come into threads like this one and read other schools posters words.....ahhhh so entertaining at 7 in the morning.....
Good Luck to both schools and hope to be reading Kenton vs whoever next week....(nope not a Kentonite...just close by) -
JHS PRIDEThis game is the game every one (almost everyone) in the state will be watching or hearing, you have two regional players of the year, two regional coach of the year, jtown has a tough D against a fast strike with lots of weapons on offence, this will be a great game to be at, those boys are gonna give every thing they have saturday night, I just hope my Johnnies play all qters and never slow down, its what team wants it more, may the best team win,
Go Johnnies make us proud -

JHS PRIDEIts tough to call this one, hope my Johnnies win, but they need to play the best game of the season for them to get the win, its a challenge for the Johnnies ( toughest team of the season) but they need to play focus tough football and than we will see what happens saturday night.
GO JOHNNIES -
mt1514My gut says Norwayne should be in good shape for this one.
GO WCAL!! -
thePITmanNot sure when else I'll be able to post before game, so here are the details for tailgating as of right now. I'll be driving a red Ford Ranger with cap. I also may have a small EZ-up set up. I will try to park in the lot beyond the outfield fence of the baseball field behind the football stadium.
I will be there with my girlfriend and whoever else has already arrived. I'm thinking we're set on food - 25+ burgers, 15+ brats, hot dogs, Ringz likely bringing chips and more brats, Big Falcon likely bringing some wings. Should have plenty of food for anyone that wants to stop by.
Again, I'm aiming to be there between 4:00 and 4:15. I'm hoping to be cleaned up and in the stadium no later than 6:15 for 7:00 kickoff. If you want my cell number in case we can't find each other, please PM me ASAP so I can respond later tonight. Packed travel day tomorrow with limited internet access. Or you can email me at thepitman13 (@gmail.com).
Well, I think that is about everything. Time to concentration on my driving. The Conneaut exit is coming up soon. I don't want to miss it and enter Pennsylvania. Haha! See everyone tomorrow. Come hungry. And good luck to the Norwayne Bobcats! I hope we are treated to an outstanding, injury-free, competitive game with good sportsmanship all around.
Sorry for any typos. On phone in car, construction.
