Well last I remember it was 28-7 but then with the metal pole I brought I was suddenly struck by lightning! I think it ended up 34-28. Im recovering in Aultman West hospital. Thanks to Riderdad555 for wishing this on me! He must be an Expert-T?

28-7 at half. Riders could have packed it in but didn't.

Bryce got a few series at QB tonight & in the right situation he's effective.

I haven't been on here this year at all because of several people that think sharing an ignorant opinion is saying things other people are afraid to say. The truth is that the rest of us are smarter than that.

About the game: Tackling a tremendous athlete like Turner isn't easy especially after you've been leaned on for 3 1/2 quarters by guys outweighing you by a healthy bit. We're just too thin to play against that size. That being said a huge KUDOS to the Red Riders for continuing to fight all the way to the end. Kyle Lichti deserves a great deal of credit for staying in there and and making things happen. He gets a lot of unwarranted criticism and tonight deserves a some praise. The whole team does! No such thing as a moral victory but if these guys can play the first half like they've played the 2nd half the last 2 weeks then they can compete with anyone.

If he's posting on chatter, that's news to me. You sound pretty sure of yourself.

    Stop being so sensible.

100% agree. No moral victories...but that was a much better effort than last week. Kyle's 1 INT hit the WR in the hands.

Inmann & Dyson ran hard. WR's were much better.

Again..difference was Turner. Reason he's getting D-1 offers.

I will agree with you they do deserve credit for fighting back, but they still have to learn how to tackle. They couldn't tackle last week either and there was no Turner then.

The thing that stands out to me tonight is these boys showed a lot of heart and didn't give up!

Improvement from last week yes but there is still much work needed for next week heading into Lexington...

Tonight's performance was a push in the right direction and gives us something to build upon, there is still a lot of football to be played yet and what I seen tonight, was a team that believes....I like our chances going into OCC play.

One of my kids showed me how to find your tweets, RR1. Good job, as usual.........ya big blow hard ego-maniac! Ha ha! (btw.......pretty impressive that Betsy Kling made a response!)

Riders hung tough. Take away the first play and we have another overtime! That first play........boy, kinda takes the wind out of the sails. It was important to finish the game strong, though.

    Yeah I guess she's a Copley alum.

I apologize if sending out updates for those unable to attend was calling attention to myself.

    Nation,
You know exactly what you're saying. Don't play coy.

Thanks for clearing that up bub

BTW, I was at the game. I just enjoyed reading your tweets when I got home. I will follow them when I'm at the games, from now on.

Had a nice conversation with good old riders1 tonight. He hasn't posted much because he doesn't like all the current "hoo-ha". I told him to get back on here.

Copley sure does have a big band.

I enjoyed the nachos and cotton candy, too!

Seniors QB had 450 yards passing at HALFTIME!!

Does anyone know if the Orrville fan that got carted off in an ambulance is OK? That was scary

Yes the offense better start scoring some first half points. Also if the defense shows up in the first half that would be a big plus.
  • Troll King
To think if Turner doesn't break the last td run , we would have won the game. After being so far down that shows allot of heart , and character. Now work on tackling this week . I don't think lex will be nearly as athletic and quick as Copley, not to mention as big either.

This just occurred to me....we've lost our last 5 games on turf dating back to 2010.

2010 state semi vs. Chagrin at Medina.. Loss.
    2011 at Senior at..Loss
2011 playoff vs. Norwayne at Medina..Loss
    2012 home game vs. Triway..Loss
    2012 at Copley..Loss

Not the best track record on the fake stuff. Last win on turf was the 2010 win over Genoa in week 13 at Avon Lake.

He would be great in option offense.

On 08/30 you posted this, (Post #865)...

That's the honest truth....but I don't expect you to believe a word of it...you've long ago made up your mind about me and wont believe anything that doesn't fit into your narrative....

    The same manner of trivia...

and again I say...that tale is worthy of an ESPN, "C'MON MAN!"

Since when do I have to justify what I do & don't find interesting? Especially to you. If you don't like it, don't read it, as others have said.

I apologize if what I choose to post somehow rubs you the wrong way. I hope it's not self aggrandizing on my part. Certainly wouldn't want that.

I also apologize if that's me being a smart a-- as you called me the other day.

I agree. I said last week if the decision is made to use Bryce more at QB, it needs to be in the right formation. The pick 6 showed that he still has improvements to make when it comes to passing the ball & the decisions that go along with it.

When we used him in our goal line offense package last night, that was perfect.

His talent is obvious...and being that he's playing on both sides of the ball & special teams, the coaches see this too.

    1.
I don't understand why we would put him in in that kind of pressure situation, then have him roll left and throw.

    2. Absolutely agree.

I'll bet somebody was about to go off when they read the first part of my #1. ha ha

I have some of RR1's excellent lists saved to my favorites folder for easy access and fun reading. His hard work is awesome. Stroke, stroke. You deserve it.

I agree with your #1...100%. Rolling left for a right handed QB isnt easy. Especially for a soph. whose strength in clearly with his running ability. Add in that it was on our 10 yd line and down 21-7...and it was just a bad situation.

I think in each of our last 4 games, we've given up a score right before half. Bad trend. We could have ran the ball, punted and let Copley at least have to drive to score. They might have scored just the same, rendering my point moot, but giving them a gift wrapped pick-6 right before half hurt.

    You don't have to justify,
Nor do you have to tell a lie,
    You don't need to apologize

I did that then and now to point out that this Red Rider trivia and useless stats stuff is what you do and you know that it is!
LOL!!! You're probably upset that Troll King knew and posted the Fox8 info before you could! LOL!!!

You are what you are, you don't have to apologize for it!
