Good luck with the lightening up...I've been getting PM threats for years from people that can't figure out this isn't the real world. Its a damn message board

I think Mooney should just continue thinking they are unstoppable and Dover is a easy win for there romp to a state championship game. Actually Big Red exposed them on many weakness of the game. They don't play as a team and they are undisciplined. They will be sucking wind come the 4th quarter just like all the other teams Dover has faced. Hell, yes Dover has a chance to win. Most teams that face the all mighty cards are beat before they set foot on the field. Is this going to be a challenge for Dover? Sure it is? But don't tell me Dover has no chance.

Last week on the brackets on the OHSAA website it said home on the top bracket . Does that mean Mooney is the home team or is Dover being the lower seed ?

Mooney essentially becomes the 1 seed by beating Big Red, they will be the home team.

    Dover has no chance.

Also, just because I say that...doesn't mean that the Mooney players and coaches feel that way. As a fan I can look past anyone I want, and also think that an opponent has no shot. Because (and here's the secret part) I have no part of the game planning for the game, and I don't play on the team. That goes for all the other posters on here, too.

The only thing that Steuby exposed is that Mooney needs to do a better job of holding on to the ball. Dover's line is not Steuby's. It will be a long night for your QB with Mooney's D-Line and Linebackers camped out in the Dover backfield.

Don't tell me that Dover has a chance.

I guess I keep hoping we would get another Licking Valley type thread, now those folk had a sense of humor as well as some solid football knowledge.

There are other sites with posters that aren't complete tool bags. A few grapes spoil the bunch here.

Where did I say anything was removed?

    Want to admit anything?
Sorry 'Dover', but while we may recognize the #s 88 and 89 as whole integers(and in this case in sequential order) to a mooney grad they are nothing more that figures that have appeared on the jerseys of linemen past and present. Their real difficulty with these numbers is trying to recall where these players came from and how the got so damn big!

Will you be at this game?

If I dont have my kids that night, I may just make an appearance. I just have to find and buy a Mooney shirt before Friday. :D

He probably has a gig at the local Ramada Inn comedy club.

Actually...I don't have any shows this weekend. That's next weekend. I'm actually pretty pumped for it. If all goes well, I will probably be getting on the road a lot more, which will be awesome.

And for the record, the comedy club closest to Youngstown is in a Holiday Inn...not a Ramada Inn. Don't feel bad though, they used to be inside a Radisson...and that kind of sounds like Ramada.

Hey, I have an idea...if you want to come down to Cincy for a show next week, let me know. I know you won't have to worry about going to see Dover play, since their season will be over this week. Let me know, I'll hook you up with some tickets.

And coyotes, I won't be able to make it up for this game. But I'm hoping Mooney is still playing on December 2, because I've already got it planned to get up for that one.

I've seen your videos, unless you got a lot better, no thanks. Or maybe those videos were a joke, in which case you are genius and I do want tickets. We will play on Friday so I can make the Saturday show. I didn't know the opening act for the opener gets tickets to give away though, learn something new every day.

Man if the final score was decided by snarky posters on a message board then Dover would totally hang half a hundred on Mooney.

You've seen the :30 clips that are taken out of context from a 25 minute set and came to that conclusion. Well that makes sense.

And if we're being honest, I'll just be yelling my jokes in the parking lot as people go into the actual show. So ya, I can hook you up with tickets.

Mooney44Cards;970373 wrote:Ya teams that actually play a tough schedule run the risk of not making the playoffs. Can you believe that?

    BUT DOVER BEAT WOODWARD 62-0!!!!!

Man, I don't usually involve myself with such awful smack talking before they game, but if Dover fans really want to mock Ursuline for not making the playoffs, I have to step in. This pretty much assures the fact that you know absolutely nothing about football so everyting you say for the next 6 days I will laugh at with a heavy guffaw and then feel better once I see Mooney has won the game handily after another school's fans have claimed that they are the team that is talented enough/ has a good enough scheme to beat Mooney. Mooney has beaten at least 5 teams better than Dover, name ONE team Dover has played that has prepared them for Mooney. Seriously, NAME ONE. This is not to say that Dover has no chance, but seriously....having a chance sort of implies actually having faced similar competition before.

I'm sure this post will be quoted and then mocked for such arrogance and "oh man this is bulletin board material for Dover" BS, but I bet no one responds with the team Dover has beaten that has prepared them for Mooney because that team doesn't exist. Dover has played a cream puff schedule.......beef it up next time and maybe you will be prepared for the playoffs. As it is....Dover seems to be content with being awesome in the regular season and falling short in the post season every single year. Good luck with that.
You mock every team on Dover's schedule by calling them "a bunch of crap teams", yet "have to step in" to defend Ursulline's schedule and a lack of a playoff appearance, when specifically implying that Dover should immitate their schedule? ...But this is my favorite: "Beef it up next time and maybe you will be prepared for the playoffs?" Really? Last I checked Dover had two 2011 playoff victories under their belt so I'm going to go out on a limb and claim that they are indeed prepared for the playoffs. Go ahead and laugh with a heavy guffaw, most pompous people do.
