Focused huh? SO focused that they were in a little trouble Saturday night. A source very close to the NW program ( a parents dad) confirmed that after the Hall of fame Enshrinement Saturday night of which I saw your team and most of the night none of them were sitting together, many of the boys went to a party and 3 seniors got caught drinking. Not sure the names of any but know that it happened. Same source says they will be suspended for the first 3 games. Cant say Orrville hasnt been in same situation in 2009 but things like that can hurt a team. -

Eh...i get around a little bit. -
ts1227Watch posting rumors, or unsubstantiated claims. Back it up with a link to a story.
I just had to remove something for it. -
NWIndianNation01Anyone have the scrimmage times for Massillon on Saturday and then the date and time for the Garfield scrimmage?
ts1227 - can you clarify? -

I will send you a pm, Big Dawg.
ts did a good job. -
RedRider1This thread is starting to get more attention that the Orrville thread...so sorry for the double post.
Just wanted to share pictures of the new light poles being installed. Lots of sound renovations at our stadium over the past few years. Money well spent if you ask me.

Red Rider NationSorry guys I am heading the the pay site. Just subscribed today. Seems as the officials of this site keep removing my posts becasue they have a hard time handling the truth. No problem. Hey orrville fans, see you at the games. I will post the troubles within the NW program on the other site. its not a rumor ya'll it did happen!!!
-
RedRider1They don't play nice with unsubstantiated rumors either. Good luck over there.
-
Red Rider NationThats because NW is trying to keep it very very quiet. My son goes to school at NW. Its no rumour. I was just in Canal Fulton yesterday and heard it from 3 different people. Its not the end of the world but they will definitely be without a few players for the Orrville game.
-
ajwahoo2k2See Ya' Red Rider Nation. Obvisously your posting on the PAY SITE didn't pan out. Was just there and there was nothing about it.
Otherwise back to the game talk. As is the status quo with this game, throw out the D1 prospects, home field advantages and what you have is a game that will be won on who wants it the baddest. Good luck the Orrvillians and the Indians. Hope it is a great game, no matter who is playing. -
5knotsI'll put my ear to the pavement. Maybe NW is trying to pay us back from '09? I find it interesting that we let it all out over here in Orrville...good or bad, but maybe NW tries to hide some things....or there is nothing at all to any of this. We'll see.
-
5knotsThat didn't take long. Other than a syrup train and a horse and buggy I just heard a little party was crashed by the local PD over in Canal Fulton. five starters out for a couple games. Kids will always be kids. Learn your lesson and move on and hopefully make you a better person in the long run. Might slow NW down a bit, but they have solid ball club...probably make 'em better in the long run.

THE4RINGZA syrup train?
-
rrfanI don't like talk about who will be able to play and who won't! I would be happy for both teams to be at 100% for this battle.
-
5knotsWe get a lot of trains bringing corn syrup to Smuckers. We just call them syrup trains. Haha.
-
RedRider1RRfan....Hows it going?
I want both teams at 100%....but I'm sure our kids will play hard no matter who is across from them...much like NW did in 2009. -

It was pretty hard to ignore who was out for our '09 meeting for the Red Riders. It WAS the topic because it was so pertinent to the game. I don't know how we discuss match ups w/o referencing who will be playing?? Odd how the NW faithful are pretty tight lipped on this one. They sure wanted to talk about our woes a couple years ago. -
BRFrrfan: stay over here!
The More You Know: the syrup train used to be called the sugar train. Toot Toot! -
NWIndianNation01Haven't heard about anything you guys are talking about.
As for the game, whether we have our normal starters or not, we have a lot of talent all through the ranks, so we will be alright! -
5knotsReally. Interesting.
-
THE4RINGZAs a Grade A pot stirrer you would think I would be all in favor of some off field drama. However, let's just let well enough alone. IF some kids made mistakes, leave it at that. What is done, is done. There is no place for that on a HS message board.
And if something happened a couple of years ago, walk away and be the better person. Discretion is the better part of valor.
There, my rant is over.
Back to the game. -
RedRider1Was NW young last year? Other than Ripey and Beers...who are some guy that saw meaningful varsity time last year and will be counted on this year?
QB is only as good as the guys he is throwing to. -
BRFWow, Ringz! That was a really good post, imo. You captured what I was thinking about posting but now I don't have to. I was wondering who in the hell would help you get a Rep Power of 7? Maybe BRF gives you another one for that post.
