I guess when your argument sucks you go to this. It's an internet message board not an essay contest.skank;989971 wrote:At least you're spelling words correctly now, keep working on that punctuation thingy and you'll have it. Note: Don't turn to Rain Man for help. -

Here is the link to the state free/reduced lunches. Several Mahoning County schools have a lower percent of free/reduced lunches than Ursuline and Mooney. -

Your up to quite a list now, Free Lunches, Population Density, Economic status etc.redstreak one;991716 wrote:A multiplier that also addresses the issue of population density would be a good start. This would protect many of these small parochial school issues as well.
There are anomallies, however the statistics dont lie. Parochial schools have an advantage and a multiplier would be a good start.
This is why the proposed program went down.
It's not cut and dry. People who think it is are in lala land
BTW, we still have the best playoff system in the county. Somehow it works -

Why can't everyone just keep going back to the MAC...you guys keep using the same schools to support yours. You never talk about the unfair advantage that Purcell Marian has. Or that Fisher Catholic is stealing all the kids from their area. You just keep bringing up Mooney and Ursuline, and skank keeps bringing up Moeller.redstreak one;991917 wrote: Keep using those same schools to support your cause. Pike county has the highest unemployment rate in Ohio, the average family income of 25000 dollars, St. Henry was just rated 3rd in the country for small cities, 69000 average income. Yep, no difference their.
That is why they tried to get a part in about free and reduced lunches, socio economics play a part. Keep your head in the sand please.
The point is, both private and public schools have a handful of schools that are potential state championship contenders every year. -

And you keep dodging it. Please tell us why you think this happens?redstreak one;991917 wrote:Keep using those same schools to support your cause. -

hey dumb dumb Its like equating the major league baseball draft .. Massillon and other publics are like the Pirates and Your private schools are like the Yankees . Sure there are a small number of kids that do the open enrollment thing but it pails in comparrison to the recruiting that your schools do .. See Massillon cant openly recruit they will get sanctioned so quick especially with crooked people like you watching . You cant catch Mooney and others because they can hide behind the private school cloak .. Its so hard to proove wrong doing by a private school . on the other hand every little move is watched by Massillon and succesful public schools .. its so different and I just want the people in the middle of this debate to understand how corrupt the system is .. You enjoy your illegal benefit ,I guess I dont blame you but its very unfair . The system the OHSAA has in place .. You guys run your athletic departments like Universities . Its just so crazy that more people dont know this .. As long as people like you keep destorting the truth and convincing people its an equal playing field we cant get rid of this system .. im here for the good fight .. im here to fight the catholic school hypocracyRocket08;992028 wrote:If you don't think that Massillon has kids walking their halls that were recruited, particularly from McKinley, you're a bigger dufus than everyone thinks you are

skankNo comment from you parochialers about a kid moving from Oregon and living in an apartment?
Or is that just a common practice from youi boys? -
skankRocket08;991606 wrote:You know that your program is a mess when all you have to brag about is a close loss 6 years ago
No, not really, just when some moron keeps talking about, the myth, I'd say one of the smallest DI schools in the state playing in the final 4, 4 times in the last decade, losing to a school twice their size in a state title game, and missing another state title game by a missed extra point in overtime, nopt too shabby. -

How about if it looks like a Cardinal and spells like a third grader, then it's probably Rain Man. -

Also, thindick...you're right. Mooney recruits. They recruit better than anyone else. As a matter of fact, they are recruiting right now. You see, in Youngstown, the news is talking about the Cardinals and how they are getting ready for their ELEVENTH appearance in the state title game. They mention how the Cards are getting ready to win their EIGHTH title. And kids realize that if they go to that school, they have a real chance to win a title. So they WANT to go to Mooney. The coaches and staff don't have to seek anyone out, these kids choose to seek out Mooney. They want to be a part of a winner.
It's the same reason why the kids in Steubenville want to go play for the Big Red instead of playing for Steubenville Central Catholic. Why is it OK if a kid chooses Steubenville over SCC, but the other way around is cheating? Please, answer me that question. -
skankPlease post the article where they mention the kid from Wva living in an apartment in Steubenville. You know, like I posted the one about the kid from Oregon living in an apartment near St. Ignatius.

And Ursuline usually drafts before Mooney, what's your point? -
redstreak oneSo there is no correlation between socio economics and athletics? Parochials benefit from letting in those poor they can benefit from and those they dont. Certain parts of the state doesnt benefit from being immune from the socio economic problems faced by others? This doesnt effect sports? When was the last time a lower income district like was brought up in Toledo and Youngstown, Cleveland, Columbus and Cincy win a state title? 2006 Columbus Brookhaven, can you name the next? Dont say a private, they only use the poor that can help them.

First off if you are going to be the grammar police maybe YOU should make sure YOU spell things corectly. Or YOU just look stupid.skank;992177 wrote:No comment from you parochialers about a kid moving from Oregon and living in an apartment?

Second your qb is from oregon and doesn't his mom still live there? So let me get this right. Your school that has been found guilty of recruiting violations has a qb from oregon and that's ok? -

Maple Heights won the state last year with 59.59% of the school on free/reduced lunches. Someone forget to tell them that they can't be good football players because they come from a low socio-economic background.redstreak one;992247 wrote:So there is no correlation between socio economics and athletics? Great tradition is fair . What you are implying here is ok .. Being able to talk to kids like universities do without consequenses is not . Like I said it is almost impossible to get Mooney on illegal recruiting because they are a private school .. Why cant people see this?sherm03;992208 wrote:Fixed it for you.

It was an analogy . No salary cap is in MLB . How can small market teams compete with big markets ? They dont. Springfield Shawnee has a 100 year football team and they have little chance against this university . its not fair for them to have to play a division I team that is playing in the division III title game . its not fair plain and simple and I feel bad for Springfield I really do . its a crime in my bookAl Bundy;992220 wrote:The Pirates draft before the Yankees almost every year. -

Let's see if you can follow this Skanky. YOU posted the article about the QB from Iggy. Right? You got that article from the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Right? Are you still with me? If they did anything illegal then why don't YOU send this article to the OHSAA. I mean there it is in black and white. Right?
