  I could name more than 1 but as I posted before I'm not going to. I have talked to one young man at my kitchen table that told the whole story of the phone calls and a visit to his home. He open enrolled at Big Red and done well. Parents of another young man(who happen to be friends of my wife and I) told us of the phone calls they recieved but declined the invite. There are more but I don't have first hand knowledge of thier recruitment so I will not post what I heard second hand. The point is you accuse others of recruiting and your school is the leader of the pack in that department. Why do you think the local schools excluded Harding from the new league?

  Just a couple reasons why people do the name calling. Because whether you want to admit it or not, you ARE a sensitive lil' fella. It's way too easy to get you pissed off, and when you do, we win! Because you then proceed to make ridiculous posts like the one above that are unintentionally funny as hell to read. You don't come off like a bad ass like you try to, you come off as an idiot.

  Ed is from the north side of Youngstown. He attended St. Edward grade school. He also was quite a good football player.

  How is it that a guy from JU I mean Edison knows more about the Big Red program then I do ? Easy cause you dont . I got some majic beans for you .. Nothing has changed since 1984 .. Who did we win the 06 and 05 championships with ? All Steubenville talent .. how about the 87 and 88 runners up teams ? All Steubenville talent ... the 08 runners up team ? the great 94 team ? this years team ? the great 82 and 85 teams ? all steubenville talent I can think of a couple of kids that went to more than one HS or junior highs and played for any of those teams Busic and Magnone of weirton .. Busic lived in Steubenville and his dad wanted him to go to Big Red , Magnone is related to DiCarlo .. Joe DiCarlo was a coach at the Red when I played . I do not know there personnel history but those families are pretty well off ,Its not near the same as pilfering the public school ranks of a metro area of over 200,000 with vouchers to poor kids ..

  years of research and knowledge from several people from Campbell ,to Warren ,to Boardman etc .. I go to some Mooney games .. Ive been to Mooney games with Mooney fans from Steubenville . Central fans ofcourse but Mooney fans none the less .. Mooney is the 4rd favorite team right inside the city of Steubenville how bout that .. Our 3 high schools and then Mooney

  He is originally from Oregon, moved to Ohio because his dad got transferred here for work....THEY BOUGHT A HOME HERE....Can the same be said for the Ignatius QB? No, they, ready for this? They RENT a home NEAR the school. Can you imagine Massillon, McKinley, Warren, Steubenville having a QB from another state and the OHSAA allowing them to RENT a home near the school? Never happen.
