  • bruiser
    Dover scores!!!!!!!!!!!!
    28 -17 3rd qtr.
  • drake
    Marlington 28-17
37 seconds to go in 3rd
  • drake
Penalties are killing Marlington, turnovers are killing Dover.
  • bruiser
Aldon Hill is taking on some punishment. Thomas (I think thats his name) is carrying the load.
  • bruiser
Last qtr. Marlington are feeding there RBS. Dover needs to make a stop and make this a game!
We stop the RBS and the Quarterback is keeping them alive. (This kid is good)
He should have alot more credit then what he gets. All we heard about was the Runningbacks but the Quarterback is wining this game!
  • drake
    Marlington 35
    Dover 17
Marlington's PASSING game could very well win this game for the Dukes.
  • drake
    35-23 Marlington
    2:01 left in the game.
Dukes recover the onside kick....... game likely over.

    Great job Dukes!

Even as well as Dover was prepared for the Dukes rushing attack tonight,
Hill still had over 100 yards & Thomas over 150.
QB Carpenter really showed something tonight though.

So much for holding Marlington to 14

Can't turn the ball over 4 times and win a regional championship.

    Isn't 35 close to 14? :D

Dover didn't play well enough to win and Marlington did. Not much more to say. You turn the ball over that many times are you aren't going to win a game in week 13 and Dover couldn't tackle Hill and Thomas in space.

One Dover player needed helped off the field late in the game, otherwise just some tired players.

Before I blow a fuse, I extremely urge each and every one of you, and the OHSAA Officiating panel to view the replays of this game. You, like I and several other thousands fans will watch as several personal foul calls by Marlington were not called, a would be touchdown by Dover was blown dead because they didn't notice the ball had been stripped from Hill, and how several holding calls, including the one that ripped Ian Murphys #8 jersey were not called. This all occurs in the first half, where momentum is a big factor.

I really could not believe the poor sportsmanship by the Dukes... If it weren't for the above, and the 5 gift wrapped turnovers we gave you, you would have been beat fair and square.

The Fawcett Hose Job has been dealt to Dover yet again.

There was a lot of turnover last week. Thought Turnovers dont matter?
