BRFSniff, sniff (wiping tears)....please stop.
Go Riders! -
thePITmanHaha! I knew you'd like that. :'(
(and check your email) -
OQBHaha you need my sleeve BRF?
-
OQBPitman, Triway has my respect...and I am happy to see them having the success that they have had the past 3 years. It's more than wooster has done...goodluck to your titans this week.
Is my name to long to type out.....is that why I was included in the "all" category? Haha -
thePITman^^ I think I was before your time, granted not much before. I graduated in 2005. I didn't play basketball, but was it my Senior year when you were a Freshman and made all those 3-pointers? Haha.
-
RedRider1riders1,
I thought you might know that 3-6 team. Thank for filling me in.
Thank all for the positive comments.....trying my best to keep up with things. -
Old RiderMason Monheim is the OCC Defensive POY...congrats to Mason!
-
thePITmanCongratulations, 5knots!
-
OQBNot the guy you're thinking about lol, I was a sophomore in 2005.
-
OQBI saw that one coming...Congrats mason!!!
-
OQBPitman, clean your inbox out! lol
-
thePITmanOops! My bad. I just deleted a few to make room for you. Sorry.

CCRollySorry guys, but neither Orrville or Triway would've made it into the playoffs in our Region this year. I would love to see Wooster and Triway play on the gridiron, but there are two things that don't favor that happening. 1) Triway already schedules their "rivals" for their non-conference schedule and I don't see them dropping any of them to add Wooster. 2) I would not be too ecstatic about adding another DIV non-conference game to Wooster's schedule. There was enough complaining about playing Galion this year. If McCreary is non-renewed after this season, the Generals program may get the kick-start and leader they need to make this a continuously successfull program. I'm hearing some things going on behind the scenes already, and I've liked a few of the names I'm hearing. But I'll leave it at that....
As for Friday's game, I've got the Riders by three scores, and yes...I'm planning on making it over for this one. Can I expect some Orrville hospitality?!?!! -

Chase should have won it in 2008, he did win it in 2009...and now Mason in 2010.
"Linebacker High" indeed.
Congrats Mason. -
5knotsAll are welcome pre-game.....it will be like the United Nations.....CC....Ptimam......Ringz.....
I had not heard that about OCC Defensive POY. How do you guys find these things out? you're amazing. Anyway, it is a testament to the guys up front. Our defense is designed for our LBs to make plays and Mason is just doing what he is supposed to do. He couldn't do that if Reusser, White and Graber weren't winning their battles. We can also give a tremendous amount of credit to Coach Haley. What can you say about the job he has doing here for his alma mater! He is a beast! -
thePITmanIt's Thursday. One more day until we get another shot at Orrville. Who knows what'll happen tomorrow, but I'm hoping for the best.
Good luck, Titans! Beat the Red Riders! -
THE4RINGZFirst of all, congratulations to you and your son 5Knots. The honor is well deserved, and an accomplishment you all should be very proud of. Congratulations!
I have not been able to respond on here since early yesterday afternoon. I seem to be having some data issues with my phone making this site read only. Looks like a trip to Verizon is in order today. Ugh.
Anyway, as far as "ringz rules" go, my only point was that those three pieces of information were all we were hearing. The only people it was unfair to was the people who had to read that over and over again. I was only prediciting the course of the conversation. It is funny (interesting really) that you interepeted it the way you did. But discuss whatever you decide, alot of that stuff has become like Peppermint Patty's teacher to my ears (eyes).
Are Triway fans arrogant or cocky? I don't know what to answer here. I guess I don't follow the basketball program, so maybe that is where the perception comes from. I can only speak for myself, I don't believe I am a cocky fan. Most of you who really know me, know my persona on here is just to crack on people, including myself. I would classify that as arrogance.
Yes, CC I would also love to see Wooster play Triway in football once again. You and I have had that conversation before. -
5knotsanother fun fun night for wayne county football fans. Go Riders!
-
THE4RINGZI am hoping for good weather at game time. I don't mind the cold, I just don't like to sit in the rain.

5knotsNice job Pit on the blog. I graduated in '79 I will have to catch up with on who your dad was....we may have cracked heads a time or two? I would agree with you on the rivalry. I think it began in the 70's when Triway was good in all sports and so were we and West Holmes for that matter. Add in Wadsorth to that mix and there were some great rivalry games along with Woo for us. But we hated Triway there was no doubt....I still have team mates that would put Triway above Wooster in the hate factor. Makes it all fun.

Thanks. My dad was tiny but FAST and graduated #1 in career receiving yards at Triway. Within the last 2-3 years he was bumped out of the top 10. Haha! Jersey #89. -
RedRider1Nice read on Genoa's kicker....they're still in shock they lost to Orrville last year. What will they do if they lose to OG?
Got his yard turfed after missing that XP last year. About right for those slack-jawed fans.

thePITman^^ Did it say anything about them kicking FG's on 2nd or 3rd down this year to give him practice? ROFL
-
THE4RINGZGenoa's FG kicker is off the hook this week. Who lines up for a FG when out are down by 31?

LOL. Article failed to mention all the "extra practice" he got....and still missed one.
I'd laugh harder, but extra points weren't exactly our strong suit last year either.
