Week 7: Orrville (5-1,3-0) at Ashland (5-1,3-0)
-
ArrowGrad02Big game for these two teams. I think Ashland should be able to handle Orrville easily in this one. My opinion is not a reflection of the coaches or players of Ashland High School.
-
5knotsI am glad you think that. I hope your team and coaches think that as well. We will show up to play a football game by the way...just in case you wondered. See you at 7pm.
-
BRFWhen we are involved, nothing comes easy. Nice way to start the thread.
-
ArrowGrad02The Arrows will practice hard as usual, and also will be ready to play football. My opinion is not a reflection of the coaches or players of Ashland High School. Hope to see "you" Friday at 7pm.

5knotsArrogant #$%^&*((. I think he grew in Genoa.
-
ArrowGrad02Just an FYI, Cal Preps Prediction: Ashland 31 - Orrville 21.

On a serious note, bring your band also. Our band just isn't cutting it anymore. What did you think of West Holmes band? -
5knotspretty darn good.....Uhhhh we have about 40 kids in ours......sound good but don't take up a lot of space...

Ohhhhhhhh, now we are REALLY scared.ArrowGrad02;504133 wrote:Just an FYI, Cal Preps Prediction: Ashland 31 - Orrville 21. -
riders1Their band was bigger and maybe better than ours, but the 4 football players were funny trying to keep in step and do the right moves

Cool. How did Tre Simpson look against West Holmes? Any season stats for him?5knots;504147 wrote:pretty darn good.....Uhhhh we have about 40 kids in ours......sound good but don't take up a lot of space... -

Wow, really? Umm....ok. It was just an FYI. Wasn't meant to scare you. Ha ha!! -
5knotsOur running game did well tonight. Both Simpson and Monheim over 100 yards. Tre looked as good as he has all year......could have been the competition though.

He looked slow and running on crutches didn't help, only 3 TD's and maybe 180 yards. He might have to use a walker next game -

Ha ha! -
5knotsThese 2 separate forums are a pain in the butt!

OQBOrrville is the underdog in this matchup, but I would prefer it that way. Orrville's Defense should be able to slow down Fuller and Co, but this game will be decided by our offense and how well they execute. We have to be able to throw and run to win this game.
-
OQBIn 2006 when I played in Ashland, I hated your band!!! They played that stupid indian war chant song THE ENTIRE NIGHT!!!! We couldn't hear anything in that stadium and beat ourselves....but it was a great game and I am glad I was part of that.

WTF? Last time I ever visit an Orrville thread lol -
5knotsSorry comet.....it was late, what can I say.

CCRollyWith this game being at Ashland, that mean's you're already down 14-0 due to the officiating. Also Cal Preps predicted Wooster 34 Clear Fork 33 and we see how well that played out. Would love to see the Riders win this one, but with everything involved, I just don't see it happening.
