I bet after Marcus plays his college career he won't be on here crying about a high school game. The chest pounding was towards Coach Doug. His coaches will deal with him. I think you know what I meant about the flag but we can deal in semantics. If this is the most serious infraction that Marcus has in his senior year of high school, I will remain proud. He was celebrating and letting your coach know he wasn't the pu#@y he said he was. He was celebrating excessively and took the flag, done. Oh and Mr. Simmons, he is a little kid running around.
That poster is NOT "Mr. Simmons"......and attempting to "out" someone is against the rules on this site...even though it's totally incorrect.
Good team...very talented...but a bunch of kids who talk more than their share of trash.
Act like you've been there before....because you have. -
THE4RINGZSimmons goes to ONU not Malone even I know that.

RedRider1Most do know that.....Sinister was trying to be cute and quiet down criticism by outing someone...and is just wrong.
Simmons is too busy being a college QB and majoring in mechanical engineering to worry about posting here. -
OQBI know I am not Simmons, he got the Riders to the playoffs with a 6-4 record his first year as starter and everyone loved him. Me on the other hand had to follow Hiller and Simmons and although passing for over 2000 yards and went 6-4, but I didn't get us to the playoffs and everyone was on my back that whole season. Obviously I am not him...
On another note, I have played the past two years at Malone, I have gotten some playing time in a few games, but nothing special. I have been taking extra classes each semester and during the summer to graduate early. We got a new football coach last February and he brought in the option offense and those that have seen me play know that is not my strength at all. So although I was on scholarship I decided to concentrate on school and commute from home and work while graduating a year early with a major in sports management and two minors in coaching and Business Administration. -

I wasn't trying to quiet down the criticism, more the poster. I do know that Simmons attends Ohio Northern but not that he is majoring in engineering. I have a daughter at Miami majoring in chemistry and the only other major in her calculus-based physics (and other hard classes that I never took) are engineers. Quite an accomplishment on top of football. I wasn't really trying to "out" the poster either any more than he "outted" me when I said, I'd be wearing 18. He sent me a private message telling me who he is. Seems like a nice kid trying to hang with you big boys from his town. I get it when someone posts incorrect information on here and how that makes you mad. Sorry for mine. -

The same could be said for Orrville or just about anyone else for that matter. We all have our moments......I remember back in the day when Mo Tipton had his halfback doing hand stands in the backfield when they were up by a bunch......not very classy.......but everyone slips up once in a while....even local legends. -

Yep...but when you have 2 players get called for unsportsmanlike on TWO separate plays...maybe it's a culture rather than a slip up. One could certainly make that conclusion based on Friday night.
Maybe a school awarding a Mr. Football award brings some of that on themselves?
Oh and sinister...when you freely offer up that your son wears #18....protecting your identity can't be too high on your list. -
SinisterMinisterI think that any forum that is allowed to discuss minors by name should expect the posters to do the same. I think that the discussions would be much more relevant. I think that if a person is going to say something he/she should have the guts to say who he/she is. I think that some posters hide behind a curtain, not the red one but the one of the Wizard of Oz.
