Cavs @ Jazz

You know, I like this whole LeBron-Kobe thing going on (even if probably 95+% of it, as far as I personally experience, comes from this site and this site only). It at least makes me think they're going out every night to one-up each other. Kobe hits another huge shot in a win last night. Well, LeBron utterly dominates the entire fourth quarter to seemingly lead them to a win until some dude just drains an amazing three. It's the kind of thing that makes me hyped to watch any game featuring either team that I can. You never know what will happen.

there were a lot of terrible, phantom foul calls the last three minutes

first a couple that sent LeBron to the line

then the Jazz got at least three in the final minute
  • SQ_Crazies
    That's fucking terrible.

Stupid fouls down the stretch, missed FT's, fucking pathetic. No reason for LeBron to not be taking the FT's down the stretch when he's on like he was--yet Mike Brown has him throwing the inbounds pass. FUCKING AWFUL. You want to know why LeBron James is the MVP? That's why--look a the brick the rest of the team shits after the performance he just put on when it really counts. Unreal. 20 fucking points in the 4th quarter--he outscored the Jazz by himself in the 4th and the rest of the team can't do shit...wtf.

LeBron had 36 but he should've had 60 against this team

That's what I love about this KB vs LBJ thing the most.

I can honestly say that besides the Lakers, the Cavs are the only other team that I check the box score of every single game, just to see what LeBron did.

    This hurts!

    Practice Free Throws Cleveland!

Mo fouling out really killed the Cavs when it came to shooting FTs at the end of the game. I agree with SQ crazies though...I think I would have taken my chances with LeBron at the line.
  • Footwedge
Well...Anthony Parker....take a bow...absolute choke job. Secondly. why insert a really cold ZZZ in that spot?

When Mo goes out...throw the fucking ball to Lrbron and let him shoot them.
  • jspitaleri
Mo fouling out really hurt, he is a good FT shooter and without question would have had the basketball down the stretch rather than Parker and Z.

    "Wrong."

    What a piss poor response.

They had a season high for turnovers tonight, so that sure as hell didn't help. But when you get an effort like that from LeBron and defensively from Andy to come in and completely take Boozer out of the game after he was a one man show for a little stretch in the 4th and NOT WIN THE GAME--that's pathetic. When you seriously don't have to do shit but make a FT because your teammate is singlehandedly bringing you back and taking the lead you better make the FT.

Reverse psychology. Just like when I went from TNT to FSO to hear Carr pout and Cavs went on a roll. Turned back to TNT, and Cavs starting missing FTs, and of course, Gaines' game-winner.

Why couldn't you do that on Christmas!???!

Utah had nobody that could stop him.

No two guys that could stop him.

He was awesome in the fourth but that many points only got him to 36.

He's had 40s and 50s before and easily could've had one of those nights tonight. IMO

What a piss poor comment...LeBron should have scored 60? He scored fucking 20 points in the 4th quarter. He brought them back by himself, saying something like he should have scored 60 is fucking asinine. There is no way you can watch that and say "LeBron should have done more". That's the stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard but that's always the line, it's incredible. I'm not saying this to spark "the debate" right now but it's the best example I can think of because it's so recent--Kobe scores 11 or whatever the other night and he's a hero because he hit 1 big shot at the end, but his teammates picked up the slack. LeBron scores 20 in the 4th, 36 overall and has a hell of a stat line to go with it and since they lost due to his teammates missing FT's he should have done more. Ridiculous...

Huh? My statement still makes total sense. The coach takes the ball out of LeBron's hands and his teammates miss FT's down the stretch...doesn't mean what he did wasn't incredible. Doesn't mean he still didn't carry the team.

I never once said I agreed with him.

Instead of "Wrong", you should've posted this paragraph and I wouldn't have said a word.

What a great story Gaines is

I'm not a Kobe vs. LeBron guy.

    I don't care about that.

But I'm surprised LeBron only had 16 going into the fourth. He should've done what he did in the fourth for a lot longer. He was playing against chumps.

Or just don't say a word because it had nothing to do with you and you just wasted your time and mine to have this pointless side conversation, not to mention everyone else's time assuming they read it.
