Look, I'm getting older so my memory is slipping a little but can you think of an O-Lineman as bad as Erving since they've returned? If you can, please jog my memory because I was thinking about this and I couldn't. I really think he could get someone hurt out there.

Cousins, Pashos, and the matador come to mind, but I don't recall them being as god awful as Cam. They also weren't first round picks.

Sorry, but I can't find where I expected 14-2, and no shit 3 wins would be a step forward. Hey, how about you offer your own opinion without criticizing others'?

They will win more than 3 games.

I was actually impressed by defense. The front 7 was solid outside of carder. I really think coley will be an absolute steal. He has impressed all camp and was very impressive last night. Peppers in the return game is going to cause some teams problems. I think he will break 1 or 2 this year for a td. Overall besides the offense being complete shit, it wasn't a bad first preseason game.

I know you didn't say 14-2, I was using hyperbole to make a point. Settle down tiger, I wasn't attacking you. I believe I already provided my opinion, but I think this team at best can win 4 games if everything goes right.

This is incredibly irrelevant but I watched the first half of that game (I'm desperate for football) and god damn Mike Glennon looked so miserable. His second pass attempt was intercepted and returned for a touchdown lol.

Yeah, bears fans seem to ALREADY be over him. He hasn't had a good tc and they're getting very excited for trubisky. Although there seems to be zero movement to giving trubisky any playing time this year from the Bears coaching staff and FO.

Came here to list those. Cousins and the Matador (St. Clair) were teh worst. I hate them. I'll also throw Joe Andruzzi in there, guy was a fucking bum.

I'm with like_that on this one, don't overreact to one preseason performance (same logic goes for Kizer). I will say, Watson looked like shit, no accuracy, which is exactly why I didn't want to draft him. /chestthumping

    My thoughts:

Hue is allergic to running the ball.

Osweiler looked mediocre at best, lot of apologies for not being with the 1's. I think he's just not good.

Defense was bad. Terrible tackling, no run defense, secondary was Swiss cheese. You guys mentioned the front 7, I guess they rushed the passer, but fuck they didn't stop the run at all.

Hue tried to get Coleman involved a lot. Wasn't successful. Britt dropped two key throws and failed to get both feet in on a td throw. It was a tough catch, but a #1 wr should be able to do it. I'll give him a pass.

Back up defense was much better. Conley looked legit. I like him.

Peppers looks like he did in college. Tough returner. Should be improvement over last year. Like his energy.

Back up oline, oh boy. Baaaad.

Kizer looked solid. All the talk will be to start him. More poised, better accuracy, moved well in pocket. Took too many hits.

WR 83- mullaney, I liked him.

I didn't watch Trubisky or Watson, and I really didn't want Watson, but you seem to be the exception, rather than the norm on the assessment of Watson. From everything I've seen, it's sounds like he played pretty damn well the other night.

I didn't watch Watson either but I also heard he looked great.

Sammy Watkins traded. Farmer got the first part of that trade correct... if only he made the correct picks the following year.

Hey Cleveburgh dipshits I'm back to fuck with you all season. Last night gave you all a little chubby didn't it? Clowns don't win 6 games.

Didn't see him, but the numbers were pretty decent.

I watched a bit of that game, he was making his WRs work hard for the catches. They were off target, lot of passes sailing high. Accuracy/ball placement generally doesn't improve drastically from college to the pros. He had the same issues in college, not shocking it's showing up in the pros.

Perhaps he knows what the OLine and backs can do and is using preseason to see what he has for QB/passing game?

But based on last yr, I think he's a pass happy off play caller. We shall see.

Sounds like Peppers, finally working with the 1's, had a great practice yesterday and laid a nasty hit on the WR Hall. Also sounds like Osweiler regressed and Kizer looked pretty decent.
