Reds Season 2016

thavoiceOne of the talking heads on WLW last year I think it was talked about how the Cards kept winning after he left, and the red keep getting progressively worse and the grand conspiracy came out that maybe this was a plan set in motion by the cardinals to sabotage the reds......
doubtful...btu interesting. -

I said this 5-6 years ago and it stays in my head every time I see Jocketty. Wouldn't be surprised if he calls Tony a couple times a month and they giggle childishly at each other.thavoice;1803514 wrote:One of the talking heads on WLW last year I think it was talked about how the Cards kept winning after he left, and the red keep getting progressively worse and the grand conspiracy came out that maybe this was a plan set in motion by the cardinals to sabotage the reds......

Azubuike24The board I got it from, someone said it looked Photoshopped. Who knows. It's sad we even have to have the discussion though.

Not only does it look photoshopped...but it looks like I did it.Azubuike24;1803529 wrote:The board I got it from, someone said it looked Photoshopped. Who knows. It's sad we even have to have the discussion though. -
thavoiceMeseraco had another surgery. This time on his other hip that he had issues with. Supposedly.....preventative maintenance...
-
Ironman92Free tickets...ok
-
Ironman92Joey says kiss my Canadian ass
-
Ironman92Billy, Joey, Raisel and Tucker have made the last week of Reds baseball very enjoyable
-
Azubuike24Votto has been on fire. He might end up near 1.000 OPS when is all said and done. It will be very tough, but after his start, he's really surged.
-
Ironman92
Don't know if he'll make 1.000 due to his slugging %. Right now he's just owning the batter's box. He'll keep taking his walks. He might go .465 OB%Azubuike24;1804107 wrote:Votto has been on fire. Azubuike24I think that's exactly it. He's going to face thinner pitching down the stretch. June 1st, his OPS was .739 and now at .889. It's possible. It was .827 after the AS Break and it's .889 now, that's been 1 week.
-
Ironman92Billy being on has gotten him a few cream puffs down the middle...and right now he isn't missing them.
-
Ironman92Well....the Reds are playing at a .423 clip at home the last two season yet they are 4-0 when I attend. I'm challenging that again tonight on this, my 42nd birthday. Heat index 98 for first pitch. They are beyond due for a loss in my appearance....we shall see. Go Reds

Ironman92Free hat...not bad
-
wildcats20How long til Duvall is traded?
-
Azubuike24Votto up to a .908 OPS. The guy can be an absolutely dominant hitter. Look up and he's going 2 for 3 with a walk or two every night. I can't imagine him on a team with legit hitters who can work a pitcher around him.

Ironman92
No OF guys seem to be moving. Can't believe Bruce, Duvall, CarGo, Reddick....nothing, yet.wildcats20;1804751 wrote:How long til Duvall is traded? -
wildcats20If was more sarcasm with how hot he's been this year. But it is surprising to see no one moving.
-
Azubuike24I mean prices aren't very friendly to buyers. The Royals wanted Lucas Giolito for Wade Davis, lol. Look at what the Cubs gave up for a rental Chapman? The only other deal was Melvin Upton to Toronto for virtually nothing, but I'm guessing San Diego was fine with that haul.
-
thavoiceReds are starting to be much more aggressive with moving Bruce
-
Ironman92Homer back...looked good but also facing Padres. Gave up 2 ER in 5 2/3 but both runs on his head, not his arm. Wil Myers on 3rd and Homer walked a batter and turned away after catcher tossed it to him and Myers scored without a throw.
Of course Thom giving credit to Myers and not getting after Homer. -
Ironman92Reds 10-5 since the break and have won all 5 series. It's been enjoyable. Homer now back, Iglesias looks incredible. Billy and Joey doing what they do. Others stepping up timely. It may not last long but it's enjoyable, even though Thom tries to suck the life out of us.
-
thavoiceOther night they were saying that the offers for Bruce have been very low. Quite a few times, but what they are offering hasn't been that goodIronman92;1804761 wrote:No OF guys seem to be moving. Can't believe Bruce, Duvall, CarGo, Reddick....nothing, yet.

Azubuike24Our GM is fucking awful.
-
Ironman92Brandon Nimmo and two throw ins for Bruce. Nimmo is a top 100 prospect OF who is 23 and doing well in the PCL with a .930 OPS but he's a career .797 ops in the minors and playing in Las Vegas which inflates numbers.
Comparing him to Schebler
