Pro days have little value, but I'm sure someone was there. I'm sure they interviewed him in Mobile, as well.

Also, just saw from Rapaport: The #Browns had a predraft visit with #Memphis QB Paxton Lynch on March 28. With pick No. 8, he'll be under consideration there.

If it happens then I think we can say luck is finally on our side for Browns fans.

I'd punch kittens if we took Lynch at 8.

I don't think there is any chance they'd take Lynch at 8, BUT leaking that may get someone else to move into their spot at 8. I could see the Browns trading down again on draft night if teams fear they'll take him.

    Agreed. Trash.

I'd take a flyer on him in the 7th round though.

ESPN updated their article and it now says the 2018 pick is a 4th rounder, not second.

    That's a pretty significant change.

Browns twitter still says 2nd round though....

Well that's a huge difference. I still like the trade just not as great if that is true.

What the hell....now it says 2nd round again. Denver Post reporting it as a 4th rounder....

Cleveland Browns: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State image: http://walterfootball.com/college/OhioState_logo.gif

I'm hoping I can obtain more information on whom the Browns will be targeting at No. 8. I figure it has to come down to three players: Ezekiel Elliott, Vernon Hargreaves and Ronnie Stanley. All three make sense. Stanley would replace the departed Mitchell Schwartz, while Hargreaves would be another Gator cornerback to help fill the hole across from Joe Haden.

However, I'm going with Elliott, as he's the top prospect of the three, in my opinion. The Browns have a couple of middling running backs, so they'll definitely be interested in upgrading the position. Whether they want to use their first-round choice on a running back is another story, but there's no doubt that Elliott would make Cleveland a better team.

    NO.

Zeke won't be there at 8.

It better not be a rb either. I have a hard time believing an analytical FO would draft a rb in the first round.

Good god no. RB at 8? Fuck. No.

I'd be ok with Hargraves or Stanley, hard pass on Myles Jack though. Sentimentally would be nice having Zeke, but by the time the Browns are competitive he will be on his last legs, so no thank you.

I love Zeke and think he will be a good pro but the Browns have no business drafting him at #8.

I hate this mentality. NFL is the easiest of the sports to change your fortune quickly. There are about 100 examples of this, starting with the QB. I actually like our CB corp and I must be dellusional but I think think Gilbert's career can still be salvaged.

Haden's head out of his ass this season, he'll be good. T Williams was solid last season, hopefully the wheels don't fall off. K'Waun is a very good slot CB hoping he can stay healthy and then Gilbert/Desir battling for the 4th spot. I'm still a believer in Desir, I think he's solid. Not his fault our past DC was a fucking imbecile. Then wqe have Charles Gaines who showed some promise that he can play in this league. Get a 4th round CB with some ability in here to compete and go from there.

Around what pick is Treadwell being talked about?
  • HitsRus
It is trading 1st rounders this year plus eagles third and fourth rounder this year(# 77 and #100). In 2017, the Browns give up a conditional 4th round pick and get Phillies'#1 . Browns also get phillies's 2018 #2.

    Steal... Absolute steal.

I normally don't say it, but I told you so.

Not saying you're wrong, but what are you referring to?

The Phillies were the worst team in MLB last year so those picks are looking great!
