Ravens at Browns

It was still pretty stunning. Not that we lost in a crazy way. But to have a 50 yard FG to win get blocked and the ball returned and we lose with no time on the clock is pretty god damn stunning. Even for the Browns.

Not that I really give a shit, but I was wondering why they made the Ravens line up for the extra point?

At this point, I've become numb to it. Nothing surprises me with this group. If a video surfaced of Haslam screwing a goat on Youtube my response would probably be "you can take the Steeler out of Pittsburgh but you can't take the 'Pittsburgh' out of the Steeler."

This team is going to continue to be BAD for quite some time.

Hopefully nothing to do with a spread

I think the Browns were favored by 3.5

Browns were a 4.5 favorite at kickoff last night. I bet the Ravens. Knew the Browns didn't have it in them to win that game.

It's everything to do with the spread. In regulation, you MUST kick the PAT (or at least run the play). In OT, you DO NOT run the play.

Pack it all up and move it to Los Angeles.............."The L.A. Effin' Browns".

    Browns to sign Terrelle Pryor

Was he playing QB in camp? Or WR? I can't remember.

So, Foot will be jizzing himself daily to fantasies of Manziel-to-Pryor breaking every NFL record over the next 10-to-15 years? Free entertainment for me, so cool.

Well I think in the one or two practices he had it was at WR.

Just a new shiny object for the fans to divert them from the shitty product on the field.

Hopefully this will end the Dwayne Bowe debacle.

Rumors swirling around the OBR that Jimmy is planning another big ticket price increase this off-season.

He can't seriously be that out of touch can he?

I thought it had everything to do with standings tiebreakers, like the 9th one after SOS.

A loss like this doesn't even upset me anymore… What does that mean?
Watching this team is like watching a train wreck that just goes on and on...and you can't stop watching the horror.
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory...SMH.

I thought Austin Davis did pretty well...
But that last series of plays and the clock management was atrocious.... And that is on the coaching staff once again.

All I can say, is JFF has been punished enough. Everybody has been punished enough. Manziel better start next week... Period.

Bummer for the Browns, a home win against Jax this week will move the Titans up.
  • jmog
Good news if the Titans pick ahead of the Browns...they don't need a QB.

Bad news is that this fact indicates that EVERY team that does need a QB would be clamoring to trade ahead of the Browns with the Titans.

    I was being facetious, Jesus.

The NFL would never condon gambling like that.

However, why wouldn't they make teams kick in OT??

Would they? Is there even a QB worthy of a top 5 pick?

Not right now, but we all know that between January and March, QBs tend to become the new "flavor of the week" and surge up the draft boards....right or wrong.
  • HitsRus
I'm not even worried whether we draft 1, 2 or 3.... It's not like we know what to do with them.

Hadn't been to a game in over 12 years at least, but was there last night. Luckily left with about 8 minutes left and did not witness the debacle .............not sure if there is any other way left to lose that they haven't already tried.
