Browns vs Steelers

Yeah nine points and another 7 when the ref blew the call on Johnny's scramble and a another 7 points when Hartline, Barnidge and Benjamin all dropped touchdown passes on the final drive. And since you can't read, what I said was that this was one of the TOP 10 performance by a Browns quarterback since they moved back in 1999.Heretic;1763663 wrote:This is getting LOLerrific right now. Manziel has been declared to have the greatest game in NFL history for a quarterback committing two turnovers and leading to his team scoring nine points. Against a defense that gave up 35 or so to the Raiders last week.
The Johnny bashers are reaching deep tonight ain't they? -
FootwedgeAs or cutting Pryor...of course that was a dumb move. Just as dumb as cutting Dion Lewis. Cueball should be named Clueless when it comes to evaluating players. The assclown has had Manziel rotting away on the bench all season...Nuff said.

Carr faced that same Pittsburgh defense last week and put up 4TD's and 35 points. Cherry picking games doesn't show much either way. Johnny made some progress today, but he still had a long way to go. He struggles to read a defense, he needs to take better care of the ball, and his lack of arm strength and height limit what he can do. With that said, he did enough to deserve another start.Footwedge;1763713 wrote:Derek Carr was horrible his first season...and people like you think he's God gift to football. Johnny shredded Pittsburgh's defense without a running game. Simply amazing. You know the same defense that the undefeated Bengals piled up 16 points against.
Just admit it sleuth...you and your toadie buds here are dead wrong on Manziel. -

LOL. You Johnny bashers are indeed a hoot and a half. Better get used to it because this dude is the Cleveland Browns quarterback for the nect 15 years. First of all, D Carr has made about 20 starts so far. Manziel...um...5. big difference little man. Secondly, not cherry picking anything...he was really good against Tennessee, really good for 3 quarters against Cincinnati and dazzled all day against the Steelers after his first play SNAFU. You show your utter ignorance in repeatedly claiming that Manziel has a weak arm. Dan Fouts commented not once but twice on Manziel's rocket arm. As for his height LMAO. Yeah completing 33 out of 41 passes sure shows an inability to see over the line doesn't it?Al Bundy;1763717 wrote:Carr faced that same Pittsburgh defense last week and put up 4TD's and 35 points. Manziel has a much stronger arm...and a much more accurate arm than Carr, Bridgewater, or Winston. Bortles and Mariota have rocket arms similar to Johnny's, but they don't have the accuracy.
Gonna enjoy the spin this week on the sports talk shows in listening to Jizzo. Buttmunch Bishop, and especially Bruce blew a Hooley who claims that "Johnny has never made a play inside the pocket".
Dustin Fox and Adam the Bull are probably on suicide watch after their "must draft a quarterback next year" shtick will obviously be shit canned by Browns management. -

I will bet you that Johnny is either cut, traded or released from the Browns before 2030. Are you willing to make that bet?Footwedge;1763734 wrote:LOL. Last year's stats mean absolutely nothing LowRoller...NOTHING. For all intents and purposes this is Manziel's rookie season and you can thank Cueball's utter ignorance in evaluating talent (How can the dumbass cut Dion Lweis over Tate, Crow and West) in not starting Manziel all season. Johnny served up a huge pile of STFU to all the assclowns that actually believed NcClown gives the Browns the best chance to win nonsense. He doesn't.HighRoller74;1763718 wrote:Player A:

The only stats that really matter are 1) selected stats against college kids from 2012, 2) a good pass against the Titans, 3) a broken play against the Titans, 4) 1 good drive against the Bengals, and 5) high yardage stats against the Steelers (even though many of the yards came in garbage time). All other stats should be ignored.Footwedge;1763736 wrote:Last year's stats mean absolutely nothing LowRoller...NOTHING. FootwedgeOn a sad note, How does Cueball keep his gig? All his talk of "cleaning this up and cleaning that up" hasn't happened but only gotten worse. The penalties, especially on fourth downs is just unmerciful. 188 yards in penalties was actually misleading in that there were other penalties declined by the Steelers.
The defensive lack of a pass rush is a horror show. Their secondary is the worst in football. At least...for one quarter, they stopped the run. When Ben got in...it was send everyone deep and I'll drop it over Desir. Gaines and Williams on every play...they never ran the ball until the 4th quarter. -

Keep reaching. Bashing Johnny is going to be really hard this week and it will get exponentially worse if management steps in and orders Cueball to play Manziel going forward.Al Bundy;1763738 wrote:The only stats that really matter are 1) selected stats against college kids from 2012, 2) a good pass against the Titans, 3) a broken play against the Titans, 4) 1 good drive against the Bengals, and 5) high yardage stats against the Steelers (even though many of the yards came in garbage time). I didn't bash Johnny; I said he deserves another start. He has many areas where he needs to improve to be a qb that can help you win. I don't see him lasting very long because of his mental and physical limitations, but I hope he proves me wrong and is a great qb.Footwedge;1763742 wrote:Keep reaching. shook_17Holy shit can't we just agree Johnny played good? This game was closer than it appeared. Johnny scored on that run, I have no idea what game the official was watching and Travis Bejamin needs to catch that fucking ball. No need for that, that's 14 points. He looked very good. No way he can go to josh on that Monday night game.

Agreed. This is something for him to build off of. No need for "some" to wet their pants when it was ONE good performance. Now if they start Manziel, moving forward, and he keeps playing similarly, or better, they may not need to burn that high draft pick on a QB. <<<< I'm not betting on that though.shook_17;1763749 wrote:Holy shit can't we just agree Johnny played good? -

I'd say "improved" is a better description. More turnovers than touchdowns is a losing performance, no matter the yards or quarterback rating. He left four points on the field on the FG drive. The good news is that Benjamin was the correct target on 3rd down, the bad is had he recognized it a fraction earlier, it was a walk-in touchdown.shook_17;1763749 wrote:Holy shit can't we just agree Johnny played good? -

We can't find out unless he plays though. Unfortunately I see petty pett sticking with mccown after the bye week.BR1986FB;1763753 wrote:Agreed. This is something for him to build off of.
