Then: Smith 8, TT 8, Delly 6, Mozgov 6, Shump 5....then have Mo, RJ or JJ chip in a bucket....102 would do it
The thing about their starters vs bench is that it's not balanced enough, imo. What I mean is that the starters are more offense centric while the bench is more defensive minded. I'd like to see them swap JR & Shump in their roles so the bench had some instant offense and the starters had a defensive minded player. I think that guy off the bench was supposed to be Mo but he hasn't been able to stay healthy.

Besides the fact GS is one of the top 3 teams in the league and are tough to beat, the difference between Monday's embarrassment and Brooklyn/LA? Ball movement.

When this team moves the ball, they win. And that's mostly going to be on Lebron and Kyrie (to some extent). When the going gets tough, LBJ is going to have to mind f#ck himself to stay out of iso mode and try to carry the team on his back.

Granted, it's also on the supporting cast to hit their shots but to beat a team like GS or SA, they are going to have to move the ball.

I heard some stat (not sure of the specific number) but the "sweet spot" for the Cavs in assists (I believe) is 22. If they get 22 assists, they win.
You will never get Lebron out of the iso mode especially as the game gets later or closer. That is what he does and frankly that's what he does best. Part of the reason you see iso mode so much is that's how Lebron creates for his team. He spreads the defense and drives the lane forcing another player to commit to him which leaves another player wide open for the 3.

The reason you think it sucks is that A) the players aren't hitting shots and B) Lebron is starting to lose the his overwhelming advantage at 1v1. We saw this last year in the Finals when they were able to use AI to guard Lebron and he was able to even out the matchup(also the players weren't hitting shots). Ideally this year, if we go iso, we should have Love and Irving out there and they can hit shots.

    I don't disagree with that.

Well then they won't win a championship. They will be playing into exactly what GS & SA want.

Yeah tell that to the Miami team years ago.

Well if the players hit their wide open shots (as sleeper was saying), they most definitely will be able to win a title.

This is the key. When you are down both Love and Irving, two of you better shooters and two players who can use the space created by Lebron iso effectively, its tough, if not impossible to stop.

In fact, if the players hit their shots, the finals might be such a blow out sweep that GSW will probably end up handing over last year's trophy as well and Cleveland will become back to back champions.

Apparently you missed the part where I said "trying to carry the team on his back." If this happens, and he's strictly in iso mode chucking up shots, no chance.

Holy shit. How does something like that even get published?

Phew, now I don't feel so bad about thinking about trading Joe Thomas.....dumbass

On a side note, they had the Mozgov winter hat giveaway last night. Did anyone hear the radio commercials for this? Truly epic. One of the best radio spots I've ever heard.

When you just have to have that contrarian asshole voice. Seems most cities have at least one going around. When the team they're talking about sucks, they're about a voice of the fan, in essence. When the team in question is doing really good, they come off as a complete fucking moron with no clue about anything other than being controversial to get hits.

Reporting he lost the locker room, aka Lebron being Lebron.

Despite positive comments publicly, there had been unrest growing in Cavs locker room. Frankly, it had been there since almost day one. 10m

SMFH, even when we have a good team we can't have a stable front office in Cleveland anywhere.
