He won't be in anywhere near game shape,if they want to use his 6 fouls maybe.sleeper;1731573 wrote:No chance. -
Laley23Kyrie stated it will be a team effort to stop Curry, and he will obviously start on him.
That would be a mistake...Curry will torch KI. -
AutomatikI would assume Shump at first? Then LeBron if needed.

I would hope. But what I posted was a quote from Irving. Basically, he will start on him...Automatik;1731590 wrote:I would assume Shump at first? Then LeBron if needed. -

Bad idea if true. Doubt Blatt is that dumb.Laley23;1731589 wrote:Kyrie stated it will be a team effort to stop Curry, and he will obviously start on him.

BR1986FBNo surprise here....Thompson has been diagnosed with a concussion and will have to go through the league's protocol.

Curry is averaging 29/6/5. I don't think anyone is stopping himsleeper;1731572 wrote:That's exactly my point. I think stopping Curry is priority #1 and I believe he can be stopped. That's the matchup I'm looking forward to the most; Curry vs. Shumpert/Lebron.

I don't think anyone is going to "stop" him but I also don't expect him to go wild against the Cavs defense.Classyposter58;1731596 wrote:Curry is averaging 29/6/5. I don't think anyone is stopping him

I dont know, when he's feeling it he can make it from anywhere. Not what we can do to stop that if he starts to get hot.BR1986FB;1731597 wrote:I don't think anyone is going to "stop" him but I also don't expect him to go wild against the Cavs defense. -

Proclaiming them one of the best after one year is crazy. I stated if the keep this up after a few years we can discuss this.Classyposter58;1731526 wrote:You make no sense. I said they might be one of the best back courts of all time to which you think I'm crazy for, and now you say eh they might be

For Example, Andrew Bynum had a good couple years, is he one of the greatest of all time? -

He won't even come close to that. Shumpert will hold him under 20 ppgClassyposter58;1731596 wrote:Curry is averaging 29/6/5. I don't think anyone is stopping him

What we can do is put a 6'8 freak of nature on him.Commander of Awesome;1731627 wrote:I dont know, when he's feeling it he can make it from anywhere. Not what we can do to stop that if he starts to get hot. -
BR1986FBI love the fact that it seems like not too many are giving the Cavs a snowball's chance in Hell of winning this series. Bay area already has their championship parade in the works.

A lot of people are saying Cavs should win with the klay injury for GS

Speaking of that...what's Klay's status?SportsAndLady;1731677 wrote:

I'd say that both sides of that coin are speaking out of ignorance more than anything else. On one hand, Golden State has been an excellent team this year, but Cleveland does have the best player in the series on their team and, due to having had to deal with key injuries all postseason, have a bunch of role players who are at the top of their game right now. On the other hand, it's a pretty decent break until the finals start and gauging a team's chances due to how one of their main guys recently suffered a concussion kind of seems stupid. He could be out for a while, or he could be back game one and look great. That all depends on the severity of the concussion and/or if he has a history of them, causing this one to magnify in severity.SportsAndLady;1731677 wrote:I'm not seeing the same thing at all.

Everything I've heard/read expect Klay to be back from Game 1.SportsAndLady;1731677 wrote:I'm not seeing the same thing at all.

iclfan2Right, it is a concussion, not an "injury". No way he doesn't play.

Yeah, I don't know how we'll even have a chance to win a game, let alone the series against the Warriors. They're just so amazing... *sarcasm*Commander of Awesome;1732003 wrote:http://basketball.realgm.com/analysis/238047/Finals-Preview-Cavs-Offense-Vs-Warriors-Defense -

It wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Cavs sweep the Warriors. Game 1 will tell us how the series will go but if the Cavs win Game 1 in easy fashion, you can bench the entire team besides Lebron and still cake walk to a 4 game sweep. I don't think the Warriors have a snowballs chance in hell of winning 4 games out of 7 against the Cavs; no fucking chance.Dr. KnOiTaLL;1732106 wrote:Yeah, I don't know how we'll even have a chance to win a game, let alone the series against the Warriors. Even if the Cavs lose a close one tomorrow, I'll still have confidence they will win this series. Only way I get into "uh oh" mode is if they get smoked in Game 1 and look totally lost or are down 0-2 (even if the games are close) coming back to Cleveland.sleeper;1732108 wrote:It wouldn't surprise me at all to see the Cavs sweep the Warriors. thavoiceI think with the layoff the team that relies more on the outside jumper (GS) will start slower.
If the cavs can build up a decent lead before GS starts to find it then they can steal game 1.
