Remember how sweet the Buccaneers were last year?
Yup. So good our dumbass GM sees signing their QB as the signature move of his off-season.

Definite recipe for success as far as I'm concerned. Take a roster with minimal talent and make sure not to add any more to it, instead relying on undrafted free agents to serve as your core building blocks.

    3-13 here we come.

Yeah, it's been fun but I'm done looking at "your" thread. Once in awhile, you actually state something football "worthy" but those nuggets are few & far between. Your conspiracy theories and whining have gone over the edge. Too much...smdh

Awesome the way the Browns put the squeeze on Gipson by giving him the 2nd round tender instead of the 1st. Saved $1 million most likely and created some bad will with your 24 year old Pro Bowl safety.

Soon enough Haslam is going to put in flush restrictions on the toilets to keep the water bill down. He definitely gets the bigger picture when it comes to owning a professional sports franchise.

Grossi has been putting out articles today saying basically the Browns FA strategy is to lose all of their free agents and not replace them in the hopes of getting more compensatory draft picks in 2016. It makes no sense, but it actually does seem to jive with what little we have seen and heard of the Browns activity in FA thus far.

I just wonder if Farmer and Pettine realize they won't be here to make those compensatory picks if this team has the crappy year that would come from letting our FA's walk and only really using the draft to bring in new talent.

Shout out to COA who is giving some real straight talk in the unofficial Browns thread (mine being the one for real Browns fans).

Revis would be a nicey shiny object to point at when every tackle is made 8-10 yards down field.
  • IggyPride00
Colts are hoarding free agents right now.

Just signed Trent Cole, and are rumored to be in on Wilfork, Gore and Andre Johnson.
  • IggyPride00
Farmer and Haslam clearly consulted with the Dolan family about how to shop for free agents at Big Lots or a thrift store.

Dolan just forgot to tell them the strategy doesn't work so well without the multi-time world champion head coach.

Reports are Skrine is gone to the Jets. There is another hole to fill.

Good thing we only have the 4th most cap room in the league and can afford to lose our own home grown guys because we are such a talented squad.

Live feed of Ray Farmer during free agency

Props to the OBR for the find.

    Way to go Jimmy.

Jack up season ticket prices on your loyal customer and give them the finger when it comes to spending any of it on the team.

I am reading more and more people over at the OBR finally realizing Jimmy is just a big con man. Thankfully people aren't gulping down his Koolaid anymore and are on to him.

#Browns will exit FA with the most available cap space for the 14th time in the last 15 years #Winning #NearlyUndefeated
Well Done. A statistic the entire organization should be proud of.
  • IggyPride00
Embarrassing is not a strong enough word for the state of the Browns right now.
  • IggyPride00
    Great signing with Cameron.

Now if we can petition the league to let him play in a bubble so that he doesn't get his 500th concussion and miss most of the games we'll really be getting somewhere.
  • IggyPride00
How long must the humiliation be allowed to continue?

    Ray Farmer is an abomination.
  • IggyPride00
Shame on each and every one of you who QQ'd so much I got banned from the Browns thread.

I tried to warn everyone and be the voice of reason and many of you just couldn't handle it. I knew this was coming and tried to tell everyone.
  • IggyPride00
It is nice to be wanted. A quick perusal of the Browns thread shows I might be gone from it but am most certainly not forgotten.

Many of you who got me banned from the Browns thread are still coming to this thread for information I see, and you are that much smarter for it.
  • IggyPride00
Farmer is literally stealing whatever money Haslam is paying him, although that money is probably stolen as well so it works perfectly for them.

This entire organization is downright pathetic. I wish there was a better word for it, but there's not.

I can't help but wonder though why on earth anyone would re-up their season tickets and give money to this snake oil salesman of an owner we have. Just a total fraud content to bend over the entire fan base. It is grotesque.
  • IggyPride00
Bowe is likely coming to Cleveland.

Will be an excellent addition. He's over the hill and can't find the end zone.

If that doesn't scream Cleveland Brown I don't know what does.
  • IggyPride00
How do these fucks even have jobs?
I am so confident Mariotta does not drop to the Browns at 12 (not a trade up scenario) that I will leave the OC forever if he does.
  • IggyPride00
    Shame on Joe Thomas.

Joe Thomas is an overrated punk who needs to worry about himself...not other players.

    Welcome home Johnny!

I think it's great you went to rehab. Having to play for Bozo's like Farmer/Pettine/Haslam would lead me to have a drinking problem as well. The human body was only designed to be able to hand so much incompetence at once, and having to be around those 3 on a regular basis is enough to push anyone to the edge.
  • IggyPride00
They can't even get the jersey release done right. The fucking clowns running this place are hard to take seriously at this point, and it is no wonder we are the laughingstock of the NFL.
  • IggyPride00
LOL at posters in the Browns thread that think we are going to win at least 7 games this year.

We played the worst schedule in the history of man kind last year and only managed 7 wins.

This year we don't have that luxury, and will get whooped on a regular basis.

We played each of the top 4 teams in the draft last year, a feat I am not sure has ever happened. It just gives you an indication as to how bad our schedule really was.

Sadly some on this board can't see that it was the weak schedule (and not real progress) that inflated our win totals.

This year will be a return to the norm when we are playing the AFC and NFC west instead of the AFC and NFC south (2 worst divisions in the NFL).

Top 10 run defenses: NE, Seattle, Pittspuke, Baltimore, Denver, Dallas, etc.... Any questions?
Amazing, every team listed there has an elite franchise QB.

Want to know why those Run Defenses are so good?

Because they aren't on the field all game getting gassed because they are stricken with putrid offenses that keep going 3 and out, leaving them on the field all game every game.

That is the secret to a good defense, not loading up on that side of the ball in the draft and pretending the offense doesn't exist.

This was a public service announcement as logic and reason is sorely missing from the Browns thread right now I see.
