BR1986FBPossible interest in Bowe, Stevie Johnson......

Commander of AwesomeNot sure why we'd want Johnson. He's been a bum for a while. Bowe? Meh

lhslep134Stevie Johnson is the last receiver I want playing with Manziel. It's widely known he doesn't always run the routes the exact way he's supposed to and has a funky way of getting open even when he's running the routes he's supposed to.

They're both better than what we have currently to line up opposite of Hartline. Hawkins is a slot, not really an outside player. I'd love to have either of these guys if they'd buy in. Both of them have spent recent history on teams with non-existent passing games. I mean, even Vernon Davis disappeared in San Fran. And no wide receiver will put up numbers with Alex Smith always checking down. That's why Jamaal Charles has insane receiving numbers. Are they the cream of the crop at the WR position? Heck no, not even close, but are they better than what is currently on our roster? Absolutely.Commander of Awesome;1712541 wrote:Not sure why we'd want Johnson. He's been a bum for a while. Bowe? Commander of AwesomeJohnson was done before he went to SF. No thanks.

sportchamppsSince I lived in Kansas I can confirm Bowe is a head case. He is known to be a huge partier who was hanging out in clubs the night before games. He also has a large entourage who were always getting in fights.

BR1986FBI haven't been paying attention but is Crabtree still out there?

I believe soBR1986FB;1712560 wrote:I haven't been paying attention but is Crabtree still out there? -

Yeah and he's exactly the type of buy low guy we should go after. I'd rather pay low money to Crabtree on a prove-it deal than tie up a bunch of money in someone like Torrey Smith.BR1986FB;1712560 wrote:I haven't been paying attention but is Crabtree still out there? -

Same. I find Smith highly overrated.lhslep134;1712563 wrote:Yeah and he's exactly the type of buy low guy we should go after. I'd rather pay low money to Crabtree on a prove-it deal than tie up a bunch of money in someone like Torrey Smith. -

Torrey Smith and Mike Wallace are two in the same. They run 9 routes. Not particularly good route runners.like_that;1712564 wrote:Same. I find Smith highly overrated. -

Exactly. There is a reason why the ravens are letting him go (other than overpaying their overrated QB).BR1986FB;1712566 wrote:Torrey Smith and Mike Wallace are two in the same. They run 9 routes. Not particularly good route runners. -

Yeah, although security is a nice thing to have. They know what they've got in Flacco, and they've won with him. I'd rather overpay a little to keep a guy who you know and gives you a great chance to win than take my chances on free agents or draft picks.like_that;1712567 wrote:Exactly. BR1986FBOff topic, but if I'm Drew Brees, I'm about ready to jump off a bridge. They did add Max Unger & a 1st but also got rid of one of his O-Linemen (Grubbs) and two of their top receiving targets (Graham & Stills).

Brees and his wife love NO. Their running game will be better now with a better line, which will open up the passing game. If hoyer can look good with a running game, so can Brees. Does Brees really need super star WRs? He won a SB without one.BR1986FB;1712569 wrote:Off topic, but if I'm Drew Brees, I'm about ready to jump off a bridge. Part of the problem there is Brees' huge contract. There are other reasons, but that is a big reason the Saints are so far over the cap and had to move some players.BR1986FB;1712569 wrote:Off topic, but if I'm Drew Brees, I'm about ready to jump off a bridge. wildcats20Also, I saw on Twitter that Brees wasn't happy with Stills.

SportsAndLadyHardy in talks with unnamed team. Could that be the Browns or no?
-
Commander of Awesome
Talent wise I would hope so. I also feel it would be th emost browns move ever, sign him, then that footage of what he did to his then GF comes out and all hell breaks loose.SportsAndLady;1712607 wrote:Hardy in talks with unnamed team. Could that be the Browns or no? -
Commander of AwesomeI'd like the Browns to kick the tires with Buffalo on Robert Woods. Watkins, Harvin with Goodwin might be willing to deal him.

MulvaJohn Hughes extended 4 years, $14 mil.

Commander of AwesomeBy far our best run defender last yr, - the one game PT played against the bungals.
