Classyposter58I like the Rangers to win the cup this season. Pittsburgh doesn't have the defense to hold off that relentless attack New York has, they are just so strong on the puck. Hoping the Red Wings can make a little run in the postseason

gerb131I got the rangers or lightning in the east and ducks or blues in west.

I'm hoping my Wings take them out in the first round so I didn't go with Tampa. Red Wings one big hope is that Datsyuk is fully healthy for this series, Detroit has 4 lines now with great center play that are needed to wingerb131;1721612 wrote:I got the rangers or lightning in the east and ducks or blues in west. -
MulvaOttawa/Montreal 2nd period has been insane.
-
Laley23You guys cool with this, or want a Stanley Cup Thread?
-
gerb131Chicago Nashville is a game. Nashville went up 3-0 at home it's now 3-3 beginning of 3.
-
sportchampps3-3 end of 1st OT.
Ill be be cheering for the ducks this postseason mainly because of Wiz -
GOONx19I'm rooting for the Preds til they lose; no real reason why. Only NHL game I've ever been to was CBJ in Nashville. Seth Jones is gonna be a boss.
-
SportsAndLadyCrazy how good of a game darling played replacing Crawford.
-
Classyposter58Idk how the fuck Detroit won that game. Played like absolute shit, outshot by 32 and somehow won. I will see all 3 goals were beauts though but they have to sustain some offense in this series if they want to win 4 games
-
gerb131Datsyuk is how they won. Glad to see the pens lose. Some quality hockey ongoing.
-
gerb131And Wiz a healthy scratch for the ducks.
-
gerb131CBJ partnering up with Cleveland's AHL team. Finally.

The dominoes should start falling today to make this a reality. The Springfield Falcons (current CBJ AHL team) are making a "major announcement" around noon, which is likely to be a mutual separation with CBJ one season before the end of their contract, and a new contract with Arizona.gerb131;1722218 wrote:CBJ partnering up with Cleveland's AHL team. From there, CBJ moves to Lake Erie (LEM and Colorado also have one year left but either side can end it this season), and Colorado aligns with San Antonio, who is currently in need of an affiliate and is a little closer to Denver for them anyway -
sportchamppsReally good news I will attend a monsters game or 2 now.
-
sportchamppsYeah Wiz being small would be a tough matchup against the jets.
-
End of LineEven though we lost game 1 I'm optimistic going into game 2. The only way the Rags score is off the rush they can't sustain pressure in the offensive zone. The Pens adjusted their game plan and hit the forecheck hard and went as far as they could in the blue paint on Lundqvist. The key to beating Lundqvist is to play physical against him he fucking hates it and to go short side high or glove high. Repeat what they did in periods 2 and 3 and game 2 should be closer. Ehrhoff and Pouliot should be back.

Classyposter58WPG/ANA has been amazing tonight. One of the best crowds I have ever seen, very comparable to what will happen should the Browns ever host a playoff game. Hoping the Jets win in OT
-
4cards...Rangers needed a big road win last night and got it. Nice job the Ranger defense to block a good amount of shots in front of Hank.
-
MulvaPekka Rinne just absorbed the puck somehow. Vanished in his gear for a good 5 minutes.
-
4cards...headed back to NYC up 3 to 1, NICE!
LGR!! !!! -
MulvaGreat shot from Kane. What a 1st period. 3-3.
-
4cardsok, Round 2 starts tonight & here are my picks
Rangers vs Caps --- New York in 6
Habs vs Lightning -- Montreal in 5
Blackhawks vs Wild -- Chicago in 5
Ducks vs Flames --- Calgary in 7 -
Classyposter58That loss last night hurts. Detroit dominated the first two periods and missed 3 easy goals which came back to get them. I think all higher seeds win
