Unreal that TB didnt tie that game up.

Blackhawks gonna win it...time to drink again..ugh.

    Yup Kane with the sealer.
  • Laley23
Scored tickets tonight. Just leaving now. That was pretty awesome, even as a rival fan of the Blackhawks.

Think it is safe to call this franchise a dynasty.

Offseason heating up, NHL just announced that OT will be 3 v 3.
  • TedSheckler
I like it. This should mean less shootouts, which is more gooder.

Considering how bad the Red Wings are in shootouts I am a big fan of this. Seriously though OT is about to become insane to watch in the NHL, it's going to be breakaway city

3 vs 3 OT is awesome to watch. Always love it when the minor league games go into OT.

yeah, that was the goodest news to hear so far this offseason!

Gimmicky, but slightly less so than a shootout, so a step in the right direction.
  • Heretic
Yeah, anything is a step in the right direction over a shootout (aka: the lamest way to end an actual sporting event).

True, but better than the shootouts and certainly better than having tie games.

Rumor is they want to do mini 3 on 3 games instead of a regulation game for the ASG

Saad to Columbus I hate losing Arty and especially Dano but a 22 year old future all star is pretty nice
  • Azubuike24
Looks like a great trade for both team. Chicago got a nice haul for a guy they openly couldn't get to sign.

Metro divison is going to be stacked next year. Pens add Kessel and Plotnikov, CBJ add Saad, Caps add Oshie and Williams.

Pens lines for next year should look like this:

    Perron-Crosby-Hornqvist
    Plotnikov-Malkin-Kessel
    Kunitz-Sutter-Dupuis
    Wilson-Sundqvist-Bennett

    Maatta-Letang
    Cole-Pouliot
    Dumoulin-Lovejoy

    Fleury
  • TedSheckler
And the Pens did nothing on D. It still sucks. Not worried about them.
  • sportchampps
Agreed about the Pens D plus Kessel seems to be a me first guy. I do like Washington adding Oshie. Washington is probably my favorite team to watch outside the CBJ in the East.

That defense is horrible. My god it's going to be 6-5 every night

Trade and signing to announce, Penguins of course. Pens trade Brandon Sutter and a 3rd rd pick to Vancouver for Nick Bonino, Adam Clendening, and 2nd. Also sign Eric Fehr to a 3yr/6mil deal.

When healthy they Pens should look like this now:

    Perron-Crosby-Hornqvist
    Plotnikov-Malkin-Hornqvist
    Kunitz-Fehr-Bennett
    Dupuis-Bonino-Rust

    Maatta-Letang
    Cole-Pouliot
    Dumoulin-Lovejoy
