Azubuike24It's the same with Daniel Orton. Honestly, if you can't make it on Philly, it's going to be difficult to find a spot elsewhere.

Remember when he was supposed to be the next big thing comin out of HS? Hell even some thought hed be something special in the NBA when he was at OSU.Ironman92;1631582 wrote:Gigantic NBA news lol.....Byron Mullens opts out of Sixers contract. Not sure where he'd be wanted? NBA career may be over.
He should be happy someone is even willing to pay him lol -

Him meaning Kyrie. Apparently I don't know how to form complete thoughts.Laley23;1631640 wrote:Why wouldnt every team in the NBA do so...?? -

He's pretty happy with life outside of basketball. He'd just as we'll be hunting or messing with his gun and home with his wife and son. It may show in his game/development but I don't think he's too worried about it.KB0938;1631638 wrote:Remember when he was supposed to be the next big thing comin out of HS? Yeah he was ranked as the number one player in the country by scout I believe. He always has had and always will have a ton of potential and ability. Just never able to put it all together and really add the mental part of his game. Physically he could be one of the best bigs in the game. He has shown a ton of flashes but no consistency at all. Not sure why he would opt out of guaranteed money unless he knows for sure he has a deal in place elsewhere that is better.KB0938;1631638 wrote:Remember when he was supposed to be the next big thing comin out of HS? Just sayin from what he was supposed to be, to what he turned out to be. He should be happy someone is willing to pay him to play basketball in the NBA.Ironman92;1631646 wrote:He's pretty happy with life outside of basketball. Im sure his life outside basketball is fine -

Just seems disinterested a bit with basketball. Like just going about it to make really good money for some years and take care of his needs. I wouldn't be one but surprised if he's not middle class Joe in 10-15 years and perfectly ok with it.KB0938;1631649 wrote:Just sayin from what he was supposed to be, to what he turned out to be. Laley23Pacers dont extend qualifying offer to Turner. He will become an UFA. They are clearing space to offer Lance the most money? I havent looked to see if thats even possible, but it seems like it.

friendfromlowryKind of surprised Lebron demanded max deal. He's the best player and definitely deserves it, but Miami's theme is about cutting costs and adding talent. Lebron's demands puts pressure on other players to cut salaries (which they may not do) and management to go out and find cheap(er) players.

KB0938Lebron is gonna end up with the same type of team around him quality wise that he had this year after this al shakes out if he takes Max money, bet Wade and Bosh are pissed they decided to opt out haha

Kyrie accepted the 5 year max extension offer -

I don't really understand why Lebron wants max money other than ego. He won't win another championship with that core and the shitty bench players that can afford with their leftover cap space.friendfromlowry;1631800 wrote:Kind of surprised Lebron demanded max deal. Doubt anything comes of this, similar to nothing coming of the Heat's tampering with LBJ back when he was a Cav SMH. -
KB0938Jameer Nelson was released by Orlando. Anybody think he can provide anything at all off the bench still?

No.KB0938;1631889 wrote:Jameer Nelson was released by Orlando. Anybody think he can provide anything at all off the bench still? -
KB0938Eh I dont think hed be too bad for a contender. Still averaged 12 and 7 last year. Not a good idea for a team thats building however
-
Commander of AwesomeNever a big Nelson fan. Doesn't do anything above avg in the nba.

I agree.Commander of Awesome;1631892 wrote:Never a big Nelson fan. Doesn't do anything above avg in the nba.
I do think he could be a decent back up though. Basically just to hold steady til the start comes back in. -
KB0938
Thats what I see him doing. I mean around the league if you take a look at most of the backup Pg's, hed be just as good if not better than most for now. Could provide a little bit of scoring until like you said the starter comes back inwildcats20;1631897 wrote:I agree.

Yeah he's a decent backup pg, he won't come in and fuck up the chance to win, turn the ball over a ton etc... But I don't see him helping the team either.wildcats20;1631897 wrote:I agree.

As for the question regarding his fit on the cavs, we have a better back up pg in jack or waiters. No point in signing him. -

Who mentioned him on the Cavs? an article or something?Commander of Awesome;1631900 wrote:Yeah he's a decent backup pg, he won't come in and fuck up the chance to win, turn the ball over a ton etc... But I don't see him helping the team either.
