Buddy of mine said he thinks Cavs go after Gordan Hayward from Utah to play the 2/3 with Wiggins playing the other postion and Dion going to the bench. Depending on the contract, I wouldn't QQ.
Lol you replied to him about Duncan then say stop talking about it.

No one asked. I'm a Demarcus fan. Well, at least a defender of his status as a star lol.

Just shows how moronic bspn is. All season/off season we heard how kyrie hated Cleveland and wanted out to go to NY. They're not even held accountable for that bs.

Cavs going to offer Hayward Max Deal. I gotta believe he will sign it, and I gotta believe Utah will let him walk. Only thing I see keeping him from becoming a Cav is if another team makes an offer for Max money (Boston??).

I dont think he is worth that type of money, but he is the kind of player you want as a 3rd option. Isnt gonna say or demand shit, just gonna go out and play hard nad get his numbers (racist, I know lol).

Cavs are building a decent team here and they have superstars/stars who should compliment well. Kyrie is the man (for now) and Wiggins and Hayward 2 and 3 as guys who are unselfish and dont need to have the ball in their hands to be effective/happy.

Cavs prepping to sign Hayward to a max deal. Kyrie, wiggins, Hayward is a nice little 3 man punch.

Utah will match and have said as much. Waste of time.

I'm not so sure they will. But that's just a guess

Just what I read from nba guys on twitter. Also jazz has publicly said they'll match any offer. Good white player in Utah? They pretty much have to. Can't go into the season as trey fucking Burke as your best player.
  • Laley23
It does sound like they will match.

But, it would be terrible for them. He isnt worth the type of money for either team, but at least in Cleveland he can really help the team.

Jazz also might have said that beforehand because they wanted teams to stay away knowing they would match. They could have resigned him before this for cheaper (GH was willing to sign extension) but Jazz said no and let it get to this point.

Uh Trey had a solid rookie season....

Not a fan of the Hayward MAX DEAL. Fuck? Really?

    Not worth it.

Solid rookie season (Burke, still a china doll) compared to the worst crop of rookies ever. Maybe he'll change my mind but he's a backup pg IMO. I'd rather have Vasquez over him for example. Anyone thinks he's the end all be all?

Funny thing is the jazz played penis flickers with his contract (Hayward) , he had a worse shooting percentage season and will still get a max bc of all the money in FA this year. So they still lose. Dumb, should have looked and seen this coming. I'd be pissed if I were a jazz fan.

EDIT: Sorry, wrong offseason thread lol

They really need to retain him. With Exum/Burks at SG, they need someone who can space the floor.

Yeah Trey had a good rookie season. Trey and Exum in the backcourt would be a solid solid young duo for years to come. Could potentially even play Hayward at the 3 if he stays.

But Hayward is in no way shape of form worth a Max deal lmao, not even close

He played 70 games...how is he a china doll? Also, why Vasquez? Just curious as to why youd prefer him
  • Laley23
He isnt worth the money, but if you cant spend it on anyone else, why not?

It isnt going to break the bank for the Cavs since Wiggins will be on a rookie deal for the next 4 years.

I just thought of a pg that's productive but not a superstar difference making journeyman pg.

12 PTs 5 ast, not overly big pg who isn't great on defense.

Isaiah Thomas 20 PTs, 6 ast pg is more productive and also undersized no defense pg. Anyone think he's anything special?

I look at Burke and see mediocre starter, better bench guy.

I'll be petty upset if the Cavs offer a max deal and he ends up here.

    Smokescreen for LBJ

The business side of things in the NBA really makes me tired. Reinforces in my brain that paying $50 to see a game is a joke. Fuckem...ain't goin. Uncle Drew making 90 million? GTFOH. Would much prefer playing 18 at a nice public track vs. feeding the pigs

Kyrie is easily worth that ifffff he can remain healthy . Big if though .

And doesnt an NFL game cost about the same ? Its not really that outrageous ,either way im sure your boycott will put a dent in Gilberts bottom line

NFL games cost more than 50 bucks lol. Also you're comparing apples to oranges. 8 home games vs 41 home games.
