    I'm coming home
    I'm coming home
Tell the world I'm coming home
Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday
I know my kingdom awaits and they've forgiven my mistakes
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
Tell the world that I'm coming

I'm buying at least a partial season ticket package if he does. I'll make all my money back on selling playoff tickets!

Football players deserve their money...NBA players don't. I spelled it out above as clear as the warts on your dick. Learn comp skills.

Lol you spelled out why NBA players dont deserve their money?

"I can complain all I want about shelling out 50 clams for an NBA game...and that is for the nose bleed section. And...in relative terms...I am RICH!! LOL. Put a championship caliber team on the floor and I'll probably donate a time or 2. Just because the market will bear Uncle Drew making 90 million, doesn't mean I have to get on board with it. Basketball players are grossly overpayed...almost as bad as baseball players. Only NFL players are worth that kind of jack."

Looks to me like all you did was jumble random words together and say that Uncle Drew wasnt worth 90 million dollars and give absolutely no reason why. I was wondering if it (your complete lack of an ability to make any kind of productive post) could possibly be as bad as Like_That, Sportsandlady and others had said it was......Now i realize they were lowballing it if anything

He's forgotten more reasons why NBA players don't deserve their money than you'll ever know.

the real decision is if Lebron comes back, will hoops keep his name or change it back to Ltrain?

always thought there was a chance Lebron comes back, but I'm now a firm believer that he will. Signs are there. Cleveland is the best realistic fit for multiple reasons.

    Dion Waiters - G - Cavaliers

Teams from around the league have been calling the Cavs to inquire about the availability of Dion Waiters.

While GM David Griffin really likes Waiters, he knows he may have to move the talented shooting guard. Waiters has clashed with Cavs star Kyrie Irving, and the pair haven't really worked out from a basketball standpoint either. Trade rumors have circled Waiters for over a year now, so it's not really shocking to hear this report.

I've been saying it for the last year. I have a buddy who is tight with a few of LeBron's cronies, and they've been telling him for a while that LeBron is coming back.

I have my doubts, as I always have that he comes back, but at this point it seems hard to believe that everything is going according to plan for Miami. So far they have struck out on all the FAs they have spoken to. Most of these FAs they are going for are guys who never got their big contract. I don't think they want to take a pay cut just for Lebron to possibly not come back. Also there are rumors that Bosh's agent has contacted other teams asking if a max was available, and they said yes. Seems like a lot of work just for an unnecessary "smokescreen." Even if they all come back, they pretty much failed in making their team better. It looks like their best bet to get a FA will be Gasol or Deng. I am not sure Deng takes a pay cut for the heat, and I can see Gasol going to Oklahoma, or Memphis before the heat. Even if the heat got one of the 2, I don't see how they put the team over the top. Unless, somehow they find a way to get carmelo. I just don't see how Pat Riley is some fucking master mind. Wade/Bosh/Lebron colluded starting in 2008, and Pat pretty much kept cap space open for that to happen in 2010. He gets way too much credit.

Cue rob's response how Riley is a genius and how Deng will get them 5 consecutive championships.

Why would Deng take less than half of what the Bulls offered him to play for a team that couldn't get it done vs the leagues group of elders? He doesn't have a 100 million dollar endorsement deal waiting on him. He is going to get over 10 mill per and unless he's the backup plan. he's not getting it with The big 3 in tact. Same with Bosh, why should he take half of what his value is?

pretty much agree with all of this. Lebron wants Riley to make moves, FAs don't want to sign for a discount without confirmation that they won't be getting fucked. Chicken or the egg thing, and nobody wants to budge. Seems Bosh is looking around. I just don't see any way it works. Right now, I'd take the field vs MIA if we're talking landing spot. Nothing will happen until Lebron signs, then the rest of the domino's will fall into place.

I don't get Bosh taking less. He's already won his championships why wouldn't you want to get paid?

I guess he loves Miami, other than that I don't know. He can still get paid and still possibly win a ring i.e. Houston.

Heat waiting on answers from main trio they r pursuing (Gasol/Deng/Ariza). All longshots to some degree, w/ Ariza least likely.

And they should. I like what Silver is doing with preventing super teams. He sees how much money the nba could lose out on if all these guys take paycuts to play for 2-3 super teams and the rest of the league is helpless.

Go out to the open market, gauge your value, and take the most you can get no matter the city that offers it. This whole "take 6 million dollars less per year to play with Miami" is never going to happen, no matter how "mastermind-y" people think Riley is.

What exactly is Silver doing to prevent this lol? I know the CBA makes it illegal for players to collude and restructure their deal, but that is essentially what the Heat are trying to do. If Silver wanted to do something, he should bring that up. I am actually surprised no owner has brought it up yet.

He's very open about how it takes time to build a team (not upset about what the sixers are doing) and how building through the draft is the right way, not signing a bunch of FAs and creating super teams.

I guess he hasn't technically came out against super teams but whenever I hear him talk about competitive balance in the NBA I can tell he subliminally delivering the message of "I want every market to build a winner through the draft, not the major market teams building through FAs." But that is just my opinion I could be very off.
