Browns New Coach

  • SportsAndLady
The job is only as good as the QB situation.

Lions would be my last option because stafford isn't really good or clutch. But he's good enough to not really be able to replace him with someone else.

Washington, well who knows with rg3 but with no first round picks until 2023, they'd be second to last.

Houston has the #1 overall pick. They'd be first in my mind. Bridgewater is gonna be good.

Browns with two first round picks, gotta think they'll be able to get who they want at QB.

The Browns don't have a QB and a potential coach has no idea who they are going to have at QB. Sorry, it isn't a better destination than Detroit.

Stick to the cowboys. Oh wait, you didn't even watch the play-in game Sunday night. Great fan you are.

The browns have draft picks to take a QB, not hard to figure out that's what I meant.

And in Detroit you have a QB that is 1 for 22+ against teams that are any good. How does Stafford make Detroit a better destination?

I never said anything about Stafford.

I'd say their overall talent is better right now.

No, I didn't. I also paid a lot of money to get Sunday ticket. To watch browns games.

Also, that wasn't just any game. That was a home game against a division rival to win the division and make the playoffs. And you went to see a movie lol

There is no way the Browns QB situation (dumpster fire + unknown rookie) is better than Detroit right now. Stafford doesn't have to be a top 10 QB in the league for that to be a true statement.

Agree with this. Although I think that is pretty irrelevant. It's all about the QB

If I were a coach looking at possible destinations, I'll take a team about to draft a top QB than a team with stafford. 1-23 against .500 or better teams, that tells me enough about him.

Stafford just isn't clutch...but it would take some balls to go another route.

No he's just not very good against good defenses. Which he rarely ever faces, hence the crazy stats.

Stafford is a pretty good QB and only 25. I think he will only get better.

How long have people been saying that?

Been saying what? He's started 3 full seasons. His first full season was incredible and that absolutely cannot be denied. Last year he didn't play very well and this year he was above average. You talk like the dude is a bum.

Pretty sure I remember you asking how they looked because you weren't watching, but it's whatever. I don't care if it wasn't just any game. I knew what the result would be and I had the chance to spend time with a friend I haven't seen in months. Don't get why challenging somebody's fandom is so important to you, like_that, and coa. I spent more money on the Browns this season than you 3 combined.

And you know that how? I've made 3-4 bets on the browns that I've had to pay up the last month. I have bet on sportsbook numerous bets on Cleveland. Bet 100 on them to beat nyj because we wanted them to lose so it would be like the browns to win that game. That was a loss.

I'd say I probably lost 250+ on the browns this year, easily.

losing money on bets doesn't count as spending money on them lol. I bet on a ton of teams I don't have the slightest care about. Talking tickets, merchandise, etc. And I know that because none of you attended a game this season to my knowledge.

He's actually one of the most clutch QBs in the NFL, his fourth quarter stats are insane, and the Lions were 3rd in the NFL in passing yardage this season. But he's still pretty decent, but you cannot deny how much more talented the Lions are overall. Bad coaching has killed them lately, but the Browns haven't even sniffed being average honestly it's been I believe 6 years since you guys have won more than 5 games. That's terrible and you're not close really, the Chiefs were stacked defensively and have the second best RB in football with Charles which is why they popped up this season.

You look at Cleveland and honestly it'll take so much to make this a 10 win team it's insane, the D is just not good at all. Absolutely putrid on 3rd down, 2nd worst in the league giving up 46% of them, and 6th worst in TOP allowed. They don't get teams off the field despite good yardage numbers, have absolutely no run game, no QB and allowed over 400 points this season which is 10th worst in the NFL

Wtf are you talking about, making bets on Cleveland is definitely spending money on them.

Saying "I bet you $50 the browns make the playoffs" is spending money on the browns.

I've also gone to the bar a few games and spent money. That's the same thing as spending money on a ticket to the game. Cab fare both ways to the bar, drinks and food, all is spending money on the browns.

And you've spent 3 times as much as me COA and like that? Lol
  • like_that
Don't mind classless poster, he already has admitted to trolling Cleveland. The dude is loyal to a shithole city and he has no ties to it LOL. Only having 1 win against teams over 500 is not clutch. What kind of retarded logic is that?

Also pick6, why would you spend money on a franchise that isn't even your team? Actually you tend to waste money so I am not surprised. I can also assure you that you did not come close to spending as much as me on the Browns LOL. The fact you went out to a movie and miss your teams play in game makes this even more comical.

It'll take a lot to make Cleveland a 10 win team? Hell, a good QB alone makes them an 8/9 win team imo.
