Manziel will smash Peyton's records as long as he has a cast.queencitybuckeye;1584989 wrote:Footwedge said Manziel will probably be better than Manning or Brady. Of course, he's an idiot, so... -

Don't want to take this from COA but is this IPOTW?Footwedge;1585110 wrote:Manziel will smash Peyton's records as long as he has a cast. -

Please just stop. What the hell would make you say that?! I love Manziel, but I do not think he will be a Peyton Manning. I see a Drew Brees Russell Wilson mix.

Possibly, but he may escape from the nurse and sneak back on the internet later.Terry_Tate;1585113 wrote:Don't want to take this from COA but is this IPOTW? -
bases_loadedI'm starting to like the idea of trading down. Much talent depth, little in the way of franchise players in this draft.
-
lhslep134I starting to think 1 or both of Bridgewater/Manziel will be there at 4 (saying Robinson and Clowney will for sure go top 3 whether via pick or someone trades up).
I'd prefer Manziel but I think both are good enough to win a Super Bowl with a good-to-great defense (ala Wilson). -

I dont know. There are def contrarians on ESPN like SHit bayless and others, but his opinion on JM I think is legit what he thinks.Terry_Tate;1585100 wrote:Jaws just pushes whatever ESPN wants him to push. There's no way he believes some of the shit he says, especially the Manziel talk. You can tell its BS when Adam Schefter and other ESPN people tweet about it multiple times during the day.
I am thinking he may be right... -

It's a strong nominee. VERY strong.Terry_Tate;1585113 wrote:Don't want to take this from COA but is this IPOTW? -

Hard to believe ESPN would want Jaws to be ragging on the guy that was the face of the SEC for the last two years.Terry_Tate;1585100 wrote:Jaws just pushes whatever ESPN wants him to push. It gets everybody talking and just creates stories out of nothing. I remember reading what happened when he said Kaep could be the greatest QB ever on Deadspin or Awful Announcing and basically ESPN talked about it on multiple shows and had stuff online about it all because of one statement. Wouldn't surprise me at all if this is the same thing.se-alum;1585220 wrote:Hard to believe ESPN would want Jaws to be ragging on the guy that was the face of the SEC for the last two years.

shook_17Id perfer Bridgewater over all, but I'd take Manziel and I'm torn on Bortles.

Dr. KnOiTaLLI'm curious to see what we do with all of this cap space... I would hope that we can lock up Ward and Mack before FA period opens up. Losing Mack really worries me, as if our line doesn't have enough problems as it is...

Not gonna stop. Plenty of people view Manziel the same way I do. I definitely think Manziel will be a better quarterback than even Peyton. Fran Tarkenton describes himself as the GOAT q'back. In a lot of regards, I agree with Fran. And Manziel is better than Tarkenton in raw ability.shook_17;1585176 wrote:Please just stop. What the hell would make you say that?! The Jaworskis and the Mel Kuiper Jr.s of the world can't get over the fact that Manziel acted like a punk when he was 19 years old. Well fuckem. These assholes are clueless when evaluating his talent. And then there are those flaming idiots that say "well, Manziel did all that against college kids...not pros". Now if that isn't the most God awful argument I have ever heard. I guess people should pass on Clowney and Sammy W too, because they haven't done anything against pros either. lol.
If the Browns don't do whatever it takes to land Manziel, then I am done watching pro football. -

You think JM can become one of the top 3 ever to play the game?

friendfromlowryYou guys hoping the Texans, Rams, and Jaguars don't know what footwedge knows? If not, the Browns will draft the best quarterback ever.
