Sadly, I think we're at the bottom of the barrel now, in terms of candidates available.like_that;1567621 wrote:WHY???? -

Nah, they're just being selective and thorough.HighRoller74;1567626 wrote:Sadly, I think we're at the bottom of the barrel now, in terms of candidates available. -

I wouldn't expect it, but if he has a good combine, I can see the Texans wanting the A&M product.Automatik;1567591 wrote:No fucking way Manziel is going #1. -
iclfan2Kiper also has the Browns taking Hyde with 2nd 1st rounder, which doesn't make much sense. Why would they trade a RB for another RB. I doubt they'll be using a first rounder for a RB again anytime soon.

Because Richardson wasn't very good.iclfan2;1567669 wrote:Kiper also has the Browns taking Hyde with 2nd 1st rounder, which doesn't make much sense. Why would they trade a RB for another RB. I doubt they'll be using a first rounder for a RB again anytime soon.
I don't think they will take him in the first either, but I don't think they'd be scared off just because of Richardson. -

I believe they are just waiting to interview Gase, or Quinn from Seattle. But they are being thorough and interviewing anyone/everyone to make sure a "Tomlin" isn't sitting out there.se-alum;1567652 wrote:Nah, they're just being selective and thorough. -

Because they would trade a bad RB making #3 pick money for a cheaper, most likely better RB. That being said, I'd be surprised if they did that, but don't put anything passed this front office.iclfan2;1567669 wrote:Kiper also has the Browns taking Hyde with 2nd 1st rounder, which doesn't make much sense. MulvaThey should deal a late round pick for Chris Polk. RB position filled.

mucalum49I hope they bring in Greg Roman for an interview. I wanted him to get the job last season and now that Minnesota went with Zimmer I would like to see him at least get an interview.
-
Ironman92I would guess Bortles to Jacksonville as a near lock
-
Laley23Id love to have Manziel go #1. Almost would guarantee that Browns got Bortles or Bridgewater.
-
GOONx19Norv to Vikings as OC.
-
like_thatWhy haven't we asked to interview the coordinators from SF? They would seem more logical than Gase.

Was he ever considered by Haslam as the HC?GOONx19;1567780 wrote:Norv to Vikings as OC. -

misread your post.vball10set;1567863 wrote:Was he ever considered by Haslam as the HC?
but dont think we even heard his name at all.
If I remember right though, people on here were happy when Norv came on board and some mentioned that if CHud didnt pan out they could easily move him up.
Decent chance Norv saw how poison the place was and would rather go elsewhere. -
Mulva
I think Norv is more than out of chances as a head coach.vball10set;1567863 wrote:Was he ever considered by Haslam as the HC? -
bases_loadedOH NO WE DIDNT INTERVIEW NORVAL TURNER? the guy that has already been fired 3 times as an NFL headcoach and would make his son the OC? damn it.
Also LOL and Keith Trollberman chiming in. Heres a little investigative journalism for ya Keith...if the guy you want to interview says he isn't interviewing till his team is done in the playoffs....you have to wait till his team is done in the playoffs to interview him. If every other team wants to hire retreads, long time coordinators, etc...so be it. The Browns now have their pick of any of the coordinators still coaching in the playoffs with 0 team bidding against them. -

and none of those guys are retreads or long time coordinators? You can also had in short term coordinators who have a QB who controls the offense.bases_loaded;1567917 wrote:OH NO WE DIDNT INTERVIEW NORVAL TURNER? the guy that has already been fired 3 times as an NFL headcoach and would make his son the OC? damn it.

I think the browns brass and McDaniels have everyone fooled and he will be named the HC 1-2 days after they get beat. -

I think their absolute worst pick was Spoodge Wynn. The dude didnt even put up numbers at a small college.ernest_t_bass;1567919 wrote:http://returnofcleveland.com/2014/01/14/ranking-the-20-cleveland-browns-starting-quarterbacks-since-1999/
DId you see the show The Brady Six where the browns caoch was talking to Bryan Billick I think it was about Wynn and Billick hadnt even heard of the guy till they picked him -
bases_loadedSo you admit by waiting they are in no worse shape than not waiting.

friendfromlowrySuppose Bridgewater & Bortles go in the first three. Manziel is still there at 4. Would you guys want to pick him?
