Benny The JetGood night...is this all you guys do on here is argue with each other? I miss the days of people actually contributing with news, information, or personal opinions. This has become one giant ESPN First Take with nothing but arguing.

Anyway, MKC tweeted that the Browns plan to interview Whisenhunt. -

What the hell are we supposed to do?Benny The Jet;1564988 wrote:Good night...is this all you guys do on here is argue with each other? I miss the days of people actually contributing with news, information, or personal opinions. This has become one giant ESPN First Take with nothing but arguing.
Pretend like we're some inside forum with all the inside information?
We hear news/reports/rumors, and we comment and yes, sometimes, argue about it. Who cares? -
like_thatBTW, I like Whisenhunt more than any other name I have seen. He had it going in Arizona, until Warner decided to leave and he was then stuck with DA, Kolb, and Skelton as his QBs lol. He had Hoyer on his roster last year too, so he is familiar with him. He also knows the AFC North and knows what to expect as a NFL head coach the 2nd time through. He is much better than the following rumored people:
James Franklin: He has 3 years of HC experience at the college level. Never coached in the NFL. He would be overwhelmed. You can point to Chip Kelly, but he is the exception. He also had much more HC experience, while keeping his team a national title contender every year he was a head coach. James Franklin has had two 9-4 seasons at Vandy. Just doesn't seem enough to hire him as a NFL head coach.
Adam Gase: 35 year old child. Not only is this his FIRST year as an OC, but he has only been coaching since 2009. Not enough experience at all to be a NFL head coach imo. Also, let's be real here, Peyton Manning is the OC of that team.
Josh McDaniels: You guys already know how I feel about him.
Dan Quinn: Intriguing, but again he has only been a DC for one season.
Packers QB coach: LOL
Anyone else I am missing? All of this leads me to believe they need to give Mike Zimmer a fucking call -

Yeah with that batch of candidates I think Whisenhunt needs to be at the top of the list. Will Banner and Haslem be willing to give him more say in the coaching staff that they didn't want to give him last year?like_that;1565006 wrote:BTW, I like Whisenhunt more than any other name I have seen. One thing you need to watch with Whiz though is that he loved the steelers castoffs and most didnt amount to anything.mucalum49;1565010 wrote:Yeah with that batch of candidates I think Whisenhunt needs to be at the top of the list. Very good offensive mind. Not afraid to do the unexpected. -
Laley23Wisenhunt would be a great hire, comparatively speaking, to the rest of the candidates.

wes_mantoothWould love to see whiz here....so happy it isn't McDaniels

Lovejoy1984Would fit in perfectly at Linebacker. Making tackles 20 yards down the field.

Sounds like a great replacement for Ben Taylor and Brandon McDonald.HighRoller74;1565180 wrote:Would fit in perfectly at Linebacker. Making tackles 20 yards down the field.
Just kidding, Bmac couldn't tackle anyone. -

90% of the posts consist of said and tiernan jerking off to eachother with thavoice adding his obvious attempts to jinx the browns. If classless dipshit some how gets involved in that thread, I don't see how the thrad could get anymore pathetic. The good thing, those posters are finally realizing where they belong.SportsAndLady;1565847 wrote:How pathetic is that browns basement thread? SonofanumpSo do the Browns get the #27 pick?
-
bases_loaded25th or 26th depending on Chargers
-
HitsRusWhatever it is, after watching TrentR tonite, gonna be lovin' it.
Kind of sorry Josh McD is not in the mix anymore -
MulvaI would like the Browns to bring Julian Edelman back to Ohio. Would have been nice if they closed things with him last offseason instead of trading for Bess. I'd imagine his price tag is going to be a lot higher now that he put up 100+ and 1000+. But a Gordon + 1st round WR with Edelman in the slot and Cameron at TE would be pretty nasty.

If they get a QB that isn't awful. Honestly, that would be overkill IMO. If they were to get Edelman(I highly doubt this happens) I wouldn't want a first round WR.Mulva;1566145 wrote:I would like the Browns to bring Julian Edelman back to Ohio.
