Really? Not even 1 game into the season and you're already clamoring for the Browns to draft another QB in the 1st round. LOLBR1986FB;1644021 wrote:Some of these national analysts have implied the same thing about the two #1's. Buffalo's #1 could be pretty high and if they don't think Manziel is their guy, they could go back-to-back on 1st round QB's.
What I don't get is the "if Gordon is done for the year, you gotta play Johnny" crap. How are you going to truly evaluate a rookie QB when he doesn't have his top weapon in his arsenal? Just dumb.... -
BR1986FB
Reading comprehension is obviously not your friend. Where did I say "I want them to draft a QB in the 1st round next year?" I didn't. I said that that some of these national analysts have seen the QB situation and don't think the franchise QB is on the roster, hence the Browns might use a #1, again, on a QB. I never said "I want them to do this." I want to see what Manziel can do before judging him.sleeper;1644049 wrote:Really? So we want to evaluate a rookie QB in his first year and if he doesn't win a super bowl let's blow another 1st round draft pick on a marginally better QB! Only in CLE..BR1986FB;1644053 wrote:Reading comprehension is obviously not your friend. Where did I say "I want them to draft a QB in the 1st round next year?" I didn't. Stop using "national analysts" opinions on this thread. Thank youBR1986FB;1644053 wrote:Reading comprehension is obviously not your friend. Why? These guys were former NFL GM's who are a helluva lot better at evaluating talent than anyone here.DeyDurkie5;1644055 wrote:Stop using "national analysts" opinions on this thread. Thank you -

And 90% of them were fired because they couldn't evaluate lol.BR1986FB;1644057 wrote:Why? These guys were former NFL GM's who are a helluva lot better at evaluating talent than anyone here. -

And you or anyone else here can? They obviously got where they were because they knew a bit about evaluating talent.like_that;1644060 wrote:And 90% of them were fired because they couldn't evaluate lol. -

Everyone here thought trading up to get a rb in the first round was dumb. The majority also wanted nothing to do with Weeden. The difference is we aren't getting paid for these obvious observations.BR1986FB;1644062 wrote:And you or anyone else here can? Matt Millen is the only thing that needs to be said to refute that argument. Just like anywhere else, who you know means every bit as much as what you know.BR1986FB;1644062 wrote:And you or anyone else here can? They obviously got where they were because they knew a bit about evaluating talent. -

That don't give two shits about the browns. Just because they act like they know, doesn't mean they have Invested their time In the browns to actually know what is best for them. They just talk to get a paycheck.BR1986FB;1644057 wrote:Why? These guys were former NFL GM's who are a helluva lot better at evaluating talent than anyone here. -
BR1986FBI'm laughing at anyone on here implying they could be an NFL GM.

to be honest br, you act more like a know it all on this thread than any of us do. And the worst part is, you go off national pundits and the obr to get your opinions. And then when someone calls you out on it, you go "it's the national pundits opinions not mine"BR1986FB;1644067 wrote:I'm laughing at anyone on here implying they could be an NFL GM. -
Commander of AwesomeSo the possibility of manziel not playing with Gordon means we can't evaluate him? Trololol
Sorry but that's terrible logic on "national analysts"
Must be why weeden, frye, couch, Holcomb, McCoy, Anderson, Delhomme, Jackson, Lewis, and Quinn didn't work out. -

Nobody said that...BR1986FB;1644067 wrote:I'm laughing at anyone on here implying they could be an NFL GM.
I am just going to take one guys opinion with a grain of salt. He was fired for not being able to focus on ONE TEAM, how the hell do you think he will accurately evaluate 32 rosters? LOL
Did you listen to everything Lombardi said when he was a journalist? Give me a break. -
Commander of Awesome
Several of the browns posters on this thread would have been better gms than Holmgren or Erica womangini.BR1986FB;1644067 wrote:I'm laughing at anyone on here implying they could be an NFL GM. -

I don't read the OBR and I don't know any more than anyone on here. Believe me, I've had some shitty opinions (see Weeden) so I know I don't "know it all" but for anyone on here to think they could do the job of an NFL GM is hilarious.DeyDurkie5;1644068 wrote:to be honest br, you act more like a know it all on this thread than any of us do. Again, nobody said that. I am just not going to take a fired man's opinion that seriously.BR1986FB;1644072 wrote:I don't read the OBR and I don't know any more than anyone on here. How so? You said I get my info from the OBR, which I no longer read and you said I come across as a "know it all" when I don't know much more than anyone here. If I state what a national analyst says it's for informational purposes only. Now if I said 'a national analyst said this and I AGREE" I'd get your point.DeyDurkie5;1644073 wrote:Once again, you are spinning what we said. -

Most of they say idiotic shit so they get clicks or views or listens as well. Hell there were several bspn articles about how the Seahawks should bench Russell Wilson, one even written by Lombardi. I take it for what it's worth, nothing.like_that;1644075 wrote:Again, nobody said that. I am just not going to take a fired man's opinion that seriously. -

You use the national analysts viewpoint and post it on here, someone calls you out on the point, and then you say "well shit I didn't say that, the national analysts did". The whole point being, you use the national analysts' opinion as your own unless it's wrong, then you claim it's not your opinion.BR1986FB;1644053 wrote:Reading comprehension is obviously not your friend. They get paid to talk, and don't give a shit about the browns. Therefore it's stupid to even use their opinion when discussing the browns. -

I'm going to be an NFL GM one day. Going to absolutely crush the fuck out of the Browns every year because their fans think drafting QBs in the first round every year = championship.BR1986FB;1644067 wrote:I'm laughing at anyone on here implying they could be an NFL GM. -
MulvaI think plenty of people on here would be capable of being a bad NFL GM.

Again, where did I say I "agree" with their opinion? And where am I using a national analysts opinion as my own? It's pretty clear I said I want to see what Manziel can do before judging him.DeyDurkie5;1644078 wrote:You use the national analysts viewpoint and post it on here, someone calls you out on the point, and then you say "well shit I didn't say that, the national analysts did".
