2013/14 NBA season chatter - let the LBJ hating begin!

What's your point? Stockton and Malone are considered some of the greatest of all time. Because they lost the the Heat super team two years ago and Westbrook tore his ACL last post season, they will never win a championship?Azubuike24;1620140 wrote:He's played his entire career next to KD, and thus, has the same overall results. Hard to really distinguish them. Right now, they are going down Stockton and Malone territory. -

Hes also had numerous games of 6-24 shooting 10-31 shooting, 4-15, 9-21 ect ect. He forces shots, and takes some of the worst shots of anybody in the playoffs And averages about 5-6 turnovers a game. Hes super talented, no doubt about it at all. But he is inconsistent as hell. Hes feast or famine. But again, I dont dislike him, just dont think hes the best PG in the game.Pick6;1620141 wrote:He's been doing it the majority of the playoffs. He has 3 tripledoubles so far this post season. Who else even has 1 in the post season? -
lhslep134Not surprised that Pick thinks RW > CP3. He has other laughable NBA opinions too. It's not even close.

Let me know when CP3 takes him team out of the second round ever.lhslep134;1620154 wrote:Not surprised that Pick thinks RW > CP3. He has other laughable NBA opinions too. It's not even close. -

Does CP3 have the 2nd best player in the league?Pick6;1620173 wrote:Let me know when CP3 takes him team out of the second round ever. -

Let me know when RW learns how to get others involved. Last I checked, that's a crucial PG trait. RW is a spectacular basketball player, but for you to say he's a better point guard than CP3 means you don't have a basic understanding of the position. -

Um he has the 3 highest average of assists in the playoffs. The top 2? Both sitting at home. Let's not act like LAC and GSW have an elite PG and the rest of the roster are bums. Dropped 40 last night and still managed to have 10 assists. I'd say he is doing a fine job of getting others involved. Questionable shot selection at times? I'll admit that. But he makes plays the others dont. What I'm saying is I'd take him at the 1 over CP3. Don't care what you're definition of a PG is. He isn't the traditional PG, but I personally dont give a damn. The position is and has been evolving. He is a better basketball player than CP3 and they both play point guard. He's a better PG than CP3. Enough with the semantics.lhslep134;1620304 wrote:Let me know when RW learns how to get others involved. Last I checked, that's a crucial PG trait. lhslep134True story: I just spent 30 minutes wasting my time trying to shut up Pick 6 by going and using ESPN's Hollinger Stats and Basketball-references advanced stats but the comparison is so far apart, i.e. Westbrook is so much worse than CP3 among all players in the most basic of advanced stats that I stopped wasting my time so I could write this post.
Summary: Pick 6 your opinion is so off based and backed up by literally no factual or statistical support that I can say your opinion is plainly stupid and incredibly ignorant.
What you can say: I'd rather have RW than CP3.
What you can't say: give any statistical (or logical) reason why. -

Anthony Bennett was drafted on Chris Grant's love for advanced stats LOLlhslep134;1620373 wrote:True story: I just spent 30 minutes wasting my time trying to shut up Pick 6 by going and using ESPN's Hollinger Stats and Basketball-references advanced stats but the comparison is so far apart, i.e. Westbrook is so much worse than CP3 among all players in the most basic of advanced stats that I stopped wasting my time so I could write this post.

Midstate01Listening to the game on TV and I've heard mark Jackson say strengf instead of strength like 10 times. Is there a reason black people use f's instead of th's. Is there a reason? I don't understand it but it sounds so stupid and uneducated. I don't get it.
This is not meant to be racist.. I literally just don't understand it -
