Lowry, might be a worse defender than Kyrie and can't healthy. Love him when he plays, which isn't often. Ross, potential doesn't bring it every game, Gay I like but the advanced stats paint him to be pretty horrible. His shot selection is sketchy and a bigger name than production. Eh a team of a bunch of nice complimentary pieces but no studs. I expect them to be a 35 win team.
You're probably right, they should be a 40 win team but probably won't be. This lineup:

    Val
    Amir Johnson
    Rudy Gay
    Derozan
    Lowry

with Novak, Ross, Fields, Augustin and Hansbrough off the bench should be pretty good.

I completely agree but they'll grind 48-52 wins IMO

    I'll go

    1. Miami
    2. Bulls
    3. Pacers
    4. Nets
    5. Knicks
    6. Cavs
    7. Hawks
    8. Celtics

    Pierce, please:

As ridiculous as the wheel chair was, I thought the agony on his face getting carried off was just unwatchable (Ray Lewis during the Anthem unwatchable)

DWill is not overrated, a few years ago he was probably the best PG in the game, has dealt with injuries. Brook Lopez overrated? No. Joe Johnson is still solid and isn't out of his prime. The big pick up for them that is going under the radar is Kirilenko, that dude is totally underrated, has a complete game and makes nothing but winning basketball plays.

I agree with you on Dwill being top PG few yrs ago, now he takes horrible shots, Rebs, FG%, ast, 3 pts, stls, all down and have been on the down trend over the last 3 yrs. He's also a coach killer. Joe Johnson is a solid player, but leaves def to be desired, but def not a scrub. Brook Lopez is a defensive liability, but great on the offensive end. I never like guys who dog it on half the game though. Kirilenko is awesome, I'll give you that. If the Nets make it out of the 2nd round of the playoffs I'll be shocked. Depending on their seeding, I'll probably bet against them in the 1st round.

DWill is as overrated as they get, and he was never the best PG in the game, or even top 3. When I get to a computer later this weekend I show you statistically why I think that, but he is the reason his teams have never turned the corner with playoff success. All of this in my opinion, obviously.

Last year he got off to a really bad start but was tremendous down the stretch, outplaying probably everyone at his position after the break. I can't argue the coach killer thing because that is his reputation behind closed doors. Lopez is good defensively it's rebounding where he could and should be much better. Having a coach that understands the game and that everyone respects shouldn't hurt either. I think they are the 4th best team in the East but I don't really see them as a threat.

Sam Amico ‏@SamAmicoFSO 2m Sixers coach Brett Brown says rookie Nerlens Noel's return from knee injury is "slow," indicates Noel likely to miss entire season.

    Bummer for NN and 76ers

Especially since it seems from everything I've read that they'll suck ass this year, so to lose a young guy fans will actually want to see develop will really suck for them.

Lol, THE NO. 1 RELATOR has spoken.

As you said. Obvious douche is obvious.
He's such a bitch. Quite a bit different with Pierce & KG leaving Boston when they are old/washed up/at the end of their careers versus leaving Cleveland while he was still in his prime. Same can be said for Ray Allen. Dude has little left in his tank.

Not to mention again KG/Pierce were traded, and he was a FA.

Wow, kind of crazy that this NBARANK will have Howard, Lin, and Parsons at #1,#2, and #3. No Lebron either?

BSPN, they want someone new to talk about. Bandwagoners are already sick of riding the Heats' d, so they need a wagon to hitch too. Catering to the lowest common denominator.

I literally lol'd when I read this. Basically a "Best White Dude" category.

Which player makes the most of limited natural ability?

    1. Kevin Love, Minnesota -- 24.1%

    2. Marc Gasol, Memphis -- 13.8%
    3. Matt Bonner, San Antonio; Jared Dudley, L.A. Clippers -- 10.3%
    5. J.J. Barea, Minnesota -- 6.9%
